new episodes are apparently airing saturdays at 10:30am EST according to The Hub commercials
likely to be consistent at that, so i'll add that to op


once the episode is finished processing, it'll either immediately have 720p/1080p settings or that will have to wait a few minutes
at this rate, i'm thinking people don't care enough to upload their low-quality recordings

xyro is streaming his video process, like last season.
it looks like he's at 50% upload of both episodes. which youtube then has to process it before it works

so it could be another half-hour or so before his are ready to go, or sooner

i'm still curious why luna was acting so oddly about twilight
perhaps she wasn't as confident as celestia was

eitherway, it was nice that luna has returned and was as involved as celestia. that was a nice surprise

i don't know which one he's using now. he also releases them privately, so again i'll have to wait.

obviously spoilers ahead:

It wasn't a bad episode. I can easily say I enjoyed it, more so than a couple past episodes. Out of the three premiere episodes, it certainly wasn't the best but it was decent.

The villain was a bitter disappointment. I pretty much knew Sombra was the villain of the episode, but I wasn't expecting such a weak character. It was a bit surprising. The other disappointment was that Twilight was so focused on the test.

Other then that, the music was lovely (the songs were mediocre, imo). The foreshadowing is tearing me apart over here (WHAT WAS THE loving BOOK). Several things will occur later in this season related to this episode for sure.

I'm still excited for the rest of the season. For the first episode without Faust, they did a decent job.
