gamepads are optional so it doesn't really matter

Am I going to be using a mouse and a keyboard in the living-room?
If you want. But Steam and SteamOS work well with gamepads, too. Stay tuned, though - we have some more to say very soon on the topic of input.

O = Steam OS
[O ] = Steam Machine
O + O = I'm thinking something involving connection between systems, OS + OS

only ~270/300 will be random, first 30 (or less) are selected by past participation and whatnot
the chances are so slim but i hope i get chosen

also, i've launched (and briefly played) several games with a controller, in big picture mode, so i don't know whats up with that part of the badge
(edit: there we go. you have to press a button on the gamepad to startup big picture mode, which was the home button lol)

one week till Online launches, and i should finish the story today
i hope the launch isn't haunted with server overloads for several days, making it nearly impossible to play

i too started with the 2005 reboot, i started last month actually. now in season 5, which i believe was considered a mini-reboot with new writers and whatnot. took me several episodes before i started to think i was enjoying the series, the quality of the costumes and cgi was certainly amusing during the first couple seasons.

several episodes made me think the series was a mini-horror/suspense thing, especially the empty child episode lol

why cant they just stay with one doctor

I'm pretty sure they've had more doctors than popes
Because the actors want to move on. In fact, The Doctor was supposed to be Hartnell but since the show got so popular, they couldn't just end it. So the writers then had to create a plot device to keep the story going.

i kind of like it too. getting attached to various actors is saddening when the next doctor comes along, but it's an interesting aspect of keeping the character alive and fresh

David Tennant could have stayed forever. That would have been ok.

personally (though i've only watched the newer ones), i liked christopher and am enjoying matt, but david just seemed so much more entertaining and fun. i really didn't want him to go :(

1. The Three Doctors isn't the pilot episode
2. So I'd assume Episode 2 of Story 1
i confused two episodes haha
and oh okay

Saying the episode is eight years old had nothing to do with what Starzy was posting about either

i was pointing out the episode he spoke of
also adding that it was 8 years old. that was side information, not essential but relevant

giving me the pilot episode was hardly relevant to that particular post subject, which is why i was confused
