whoa is me and my forgetfulness
due to forgetting to add a scarf, I now have a huge hassle on my hands

you've seen the original twilight with no scarf, here is new twilight with a scarf.

the dilemma? the scarf is suppose to be under her mane and because I forgot I was going to add a scarf, I didn't prepare the necessary layers to easily slide it under (in other words, a separate layer for her mane). i can't figure out how to perfectly erase it without it looking choppy :c

i keep thinking there might be some photoshop tool that could do this, but i don't know of anything and don't know where to go look or what to search for. D:

She's also missing her cutie mark in the scarf picture. :)

a second twilight layer is covering the cutie mark layer

The MLP subreddit is having "No-Pics Thursday", where pictures aren't allowed to be posted

I don't like No-Pics Thursday

I personally have enjoyed it. It's giving the possibility of potentially fun discussion threads which don't happen much anywhere.
It's just a 24-hour test, they might not do it afterward depending on the reviews and thoughts of the users. Many don't seem to enjoy it, while others do.

Tomorrow there will be a stuffload of artwork I bet.

i've heard it's mediocre for DLC, so probably not if that's true
i think it just adds like a few weapons and one new quest line but i don't really know.

the only thing that gets me is how the tree has more detail than the rest of the picture.

perhaps i'll tone down its details later

is that the inside of the model?
if so, that means it's double-sided and should be fixed. assuming he's using Blender, there's an option to disable it somewhere in the materials menu/one of those menus.

Report bugs/animation errors.

Weird rainbows appearing in various areas at certain angles only.


I've never messed with playertypes before, so I have no idea what might be causing this. Perhaps something to do with the textures?

Applejack's neck is pink, and their hooves are brickTOP.png textures (not sure if purposely or not).

After watching the Canterlot Wedding, I am so loving pumped for Season Three! So giddy, happy and excited.
I really want to see Cadance and Shining Armor again c:


Now that my re-watch of the series has ended, time to focus primarily on art.

i tried
i really did, i was going to rewatch every episode no matter the pain

but i failed. Ponyville Confidential is without doubt what I would consider the worst episode of the series. i couldn't stand to watch the crusaders once again failing to find their cutie marks, while on top of which dealing with the biggest bitch in the series.

no regrets. now to watch the MMMystery and then the Canterlot Wedding! yay i'll finish before August as I planned.

alrighty then, July is ending and August is beginning. I have a good feeling we're going to get the four-week notice for Season Three sometime mid-month or near the end. It would make sense if it aired in September.
