i spent the last hour or two dropping placeholder patterns, once the QR code thingmabob opens up I'll probably look around for a decent pattern or make one myself. it's going to take many many days to buy all the needed benches, street lights, and wells :c


also, i feel like i'm flirting with one of my villagers :I
not that they will ever feel the same :(

it's always a wait-and-see approach, and make many comments about it on the way (e.g., flip stuff and then reverse course later). as information was revealed, opinions changed. many were going to check it out for the hell of it anyway, and some of that information made it seem possible that it wouldn't be as terrible as initially thought so many others went over to the maybe-side too.

end result, it was apparently not as terrible but not really that good either. mildly entertaining ("bland" is the word i've heard most used). freaked out over nothing.
this has happened before, it shouldn't even be surprising

I hope season 4 doesn't end up like borderlands 2 and gets crammed with pointless pop culture references because the script itself isn't funny enough.

i just learned when taking photo ID's if you hold down L you'll get a black/white filter, and if you hold down R you get a sepia filter

i bought mine because walmart decided to drop the price of the system a day early, which allowed me to receive the ambassador games at the new price
at the time the only worthwhile game was Ocarina of Time 3D, if i recall correctly. otherwise, i probably would have waited much longer for the larger library of games that came out later


also, i think that the town size is much smaller in this game than in previous titles. if it isn't, for some reason it certainly feels like

damn, it feels like i'm cheating when i go to the island. i've found three new fruit types already, and in past games it would take so much longer to obtain these things. plus, it being in constant summer, it's going to be so easy to get rich in this game

i almost want to avoid the island :I

day 3
unfortunately yesterday i bought some house upgrades (door and fence) so i wont get my second house expansion till tomorrow (i thought it would just automatically upgrade lol). i also built my first new bridge, already had the funds so it'll be up tomorrow. apparently Tortimer shows up on day 3, so i'll get to go to the island tomorrow. and finally, i decided to go with Night Owl until i catch a roosterroach, then i'll switch it to Beautiful Town

i need to find a cool hat, pants and shoes. then change my hair style/color and eye color and i'll be done customizing myself lol
