in which I mean a generalization that everyone else makes because they're too stupid to do any real research on the subject
this has been said dozens of times in the last few hundred pages.
Perhaps the subject should be related to episodes? talking about the fans/fan creations always ends up badly.

I scanned this awhile ago, I haven't touched the paper since then.
