There is a very obvious difference in the light hearted shenanigans of Tom & Jerry and the adult oriented anime from Japan. If you are too dull or ignorant to see this, refrain from expressing your (handicapped) opinion here. Thank you and have a nice day.

Also, cartoons are fun to watch. A lot better than most programming like anything remotely Viacom.

I used to be into Inuyasha and FMA, but that was when I didn't know any better. Now I like good anime.

last time i checked the anime is based on the manga
Last time I checked movies were based off of books, and guess what? The movies suck ass. Most of the time the manga is forgeted over by the anime so your argument is NULL.

The majority of people who watch anime just so happen to disagree with you, since those are some of the most popular animes that have ever existed.
The majority of people are of average IQ. The majority of people have average taste. The majority of people are simply wrong.

honestly i can tell your a fantard also i bet you didn't ask anyone
Way to call him a fanboy for defending his tastes, yet defend yours at the same time. (Except Vertzer isn't handicapped) "STFU WINDOWS FANBOY, MAC IS THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST"

Neon Genesis Evangelion - If you dislike this one, you just might have stuffty taste.
FLCL - See above.
Ghost in the Shell - See above.
Death Note - Pretty cool story, had some interesting moments also.
Wolf's Rain - WOLVES
Blue Gender - ALIENS
Naruto - I like the story, but the fillers suck. Also, NINJAS
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yūutsu - Light hearted (a plus after Death Note and other serious anime) and fun
Chobits - Cute anime blah blah pantsu
Heroic Age - Sci Fi, short (26 episodes) with cool battle scenes.

I heard Soul Eater was terrible but then again I haven't seen it.

hammer/pinking

I would also create bridges outside the bedroom on top of a 'secret' brick. After an hour goes by and people have been building on my bridge I would hammer the brick and cause everything to break therefore pissing off a great deal of people.

'Rube Goldberg' machines and the like would appear extremely similarly if not identical to all clients, assuming there is no lag.

Exactly, I think kompressor just didn't want to give everyone false hope, opening the way for people to complain about it being out of sync. I think with good latency, physics would be in sync enough for people to see some cool things together.

By the way, for those of you wanting avatars to fall apart, why isn't it possible now? You could hide the avatar on death and spawn body parts that bounce can't you? They did it in TBM I believe, but maybe the way the avatar's pieces are animations would make it impossible.

Very true, but in the one I played they have siege towers too. Nothing more intense than waiting for a massive tower to roll towards you while hundreds of arrows pour down on you.

And contrary to the "battle resizer" thing, I would suggest the Brutality mod. It makes it possible to die, makes infantry battles gory, and gives the game a generally darker feel. Although, it's not for beginners. I play on 126% difficulty and you have to be very careful not to get stabbed in the face (face stabs tend to make you die) or get shot in the neck (also causes death).

Games / Iji
« on: December 11, 2008, 03:58:55 AM »
Author's description:
Iji is an action-packed strategic platform shooter with a detailed story, large levels with multiple paths, powerful bosses and lots of secrets. There are alternate gameplay events, dialogues and scenes depending on what you do, a wealth of extras and bonus features, and seven stats to upgrade through a leveling system. Iji herself has superhuman strength and abilities, and can crack Nanotechnology, use her enemies' most devastating weapons against them, and be a pacifist or a killer which changes her mood and the fate of those around her.

My description:
I found myself closing the game after completing it, and to my amazement several hours had passed. It's one of those games where you are so into it normal time goes by in an instant. The gameplay is fun, basic enough to pick up on quickly but varied enough to keep things interesting. Graphics may look simple, but it's really detailed in my opinion. For it's style, I'd say graphics are excellent.

The story was my favorite aspect, by far. I won't give a lot of detail here so I don't ruin it, but let's just say that your actions change the plot. I went around destroying everything and instead of saying "Sorry..." (like in the beginning), it was a simple "Die!". You can choose either stealth or 'kill-everything-in-sight', but so far I've only done the latter.

Below are two screenshots taken from the page. I really recommend this game to anyone who enjoys sidescrollers, good story, or just good games in general.

If you are still in doubt, there are four additional screens on the page, and oh yeah, here's the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33mxD4FjD3w

Again, I recommend this game. It's really well done, and when I learned it was made in Gamemaker it surprised me. (Only because I base most of my opinions on GM games by what I've played)

tl;dr: play it, for it is awesome

It seems that would be kinda conflict of interest.

Don't ask why I think that, it just appears to be that in my mind. I guess I feel that Badspot should know no one on blockland personally.

"Hey man, I've finally finished my game. BUT YOU CAN'T PLAY IT OR IT'D BE A CONFLICT OF INTERESTS SO GO AWAY"

Don't be ridiculous. Did you expect Badspot to be some Herculean warrior made of steel delivering copies of Blockland to eager children in a flaming chariot made of adamantium?

My respect for him is unchanged. He was inspired to become an indie game dev and he made a game that I consider genius. Consider the fact I've been playing Blockland since TSS spotlighted it and yet I've played major game titles, which have had millions of dollars poured into them, and get bored in (at most) a month.

N : 14
[1 + 4] 5
E : 5
5 + 5 = [1 + 0] 1
O : 15
1 + [1 + 5] = 6
Z : 26
[2 + 6] + 6 = [1 + 4] 5
U : 21
5 + [2 + 1] = 8
K : 11
[1 + 1] + 8 = [1 + 0] 1
I : 9
1 + 9 = [1 + 0] 1

Neozuki is the number: 1
In math, it's left to right Talford.

2+0+1+1+2+1 = 7
7+6 = [1 + 3] or 4
4+1 = 5
5+5 = [1 + 1] or 2
2+1 = 3
3+8 = [1 + 1] or 2
2+4 = 6
So I think your name is actually 6, unless doing math the opposite way was part of your game.

2 + 9 = [1 + 1] or 2
2 + 1 + 9 = [1 + 2] or 3
3 + 1 + 9 = [1 + 3] or 4
4 + 2 + 2 + 2 = [1 + 0] or 1

I think you are also number 1 Sirrus, but I didn't both to check any of my math to make sure it was right, so anyone feel free to correct me.

Dansegal96 V2 and SPIDERPIG, you guys are doing it wrong.

That was the point. I wouldn't talk much after seeing 20 years of battle, people being slaughtered and mangled by aliens, and watching your comrades die.

You raise an interesting point, but the fact he tries to be funny just throws it off base. (I did chuckle when he get's Cortana from the OVERMIND and when she asks what his plan is, he says to shoot his way out. "Mix things up a little". As if he even planned anything instead of shooting like a moron. Tactical training my ass.) Also, in the books they never say anything about him being desensitized so it doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

the butler from the first tomb raider games.
you kicking off of crap in her sandbox mode house. just killing time and trying to climb up on things.
and you hear him jingling that tray of teacups. but you cant see him anywhere. you run in the next room and you still hear him following you from somewhere. but still cant find him.

then all of a sudden you turn a dark corner, and there he is. in your way, and scary as stuff.
i lost lot of sleep then
The above text is 100% true.

Thank god for the freezer or I would of never played in her mansion.

As far as I know vehicles don't activate events yet, but you could possible make them fakeKill bricks when they hit bricks with enough force, and you can do it that way.

And to make it not completely destroy the whole tower, you can have a print brick or something set at 0, then every time the brick relays, add 1 to the print. When it overflows have it turn off the relay events for a moment and it should stop the propagation. All theory but whatever.

WRB852: Why was RTB 2.0 so expected? In my opinion it's pretty useless since it basically does what other things already do, but that didn't stop it from receiving a sticky did it? I think this adds more to the sandbox nature of Blockland extending the replay value, not to mention exploding stuff will be a lot more fun now.
