just because you're a scrub casual doesn't mean you need to hate on the gamecube's controller design

lol whatever. Call me that all you want.

I don't hate the controller's design though. All I said was the L and R triggers on the fight pad are much better for Smash games since you need quick response time.

Link's Awakening DX (the one used in the tutorial) is actually a really good GBC game.

the hori battlepads are classic controller pro controllers cleverly disguised as gaycube controllers
which is why they have trigger buttons and no Z button

They're nice for things like virtual console games and other games with classic controller support like Mario Kart Wii.
Personally, I prefer the button triggers over the Gamecube's spring triggers for Smash Bros.

Then wouldn't Zelda be the Skyward Sword version? And Ganondorf wasn't even in skyward sword.

EDIT: And he has the bombs from Twilight Princess.

And BTW twilight hero == "hero chosen by the gods"

He was never officially called the twilight hero.

Ah okay.
And now that I'm looking at them side-by-side, I can tell that the design fits the Twilight Princess link more than the Skyward Sword one, but he has certain things from each version.

Wait, so if he's the Ganondorf from the child timeline, does that mean the Link in smash is the hero chosen by the gods? I always thought he was the hero of time.

EDIT: Ok yeah, idk why I didn't notice that before. That's why in brawl and smash 4 Link has the clawshot instead of the hookshot.

Brawl Link is the Twilight Hero while sm4sh link is the Skyward Sword version, a la the Beetle, Gust Bellows, and Skyloft.
