I saw this shell on Friday night while waiting for my copy of Pokémon Y. I didn't have the money on me so I had to go back and pick it up today. For only $10 it's pretty awesome. It's aluminum. I'm slightly worried about the hinges, which look and are pretty flimsy on their own, but when you slide the 3DS into it: it's pretty robust. And it looks awesome.

I had one for my DSi. Yes, they are flimsy hinges.

Damn, that's like a bullet proof west for your 3DS.

Thought you should notice.
