OS X 10.8.3
(Minecraft runs for me at about 90 fps on highest gfx settings.)
The GHz on your Processor might be your issue.
dunno lol, but i found there is a sand generator for 1.5.2 well it looks like it is for it.He means the disc "wait".

Yeah, just buy new RAM cards. I was able to get 2 8GB RAM cards for $100.
