Well first you should check if your TV supports PS2. Then get PS2. If your TV doesn't support PS2 then get the TF2 item.

It does. We have component inputs on it. We're going to sell our Nintendo Wii to help with the PS2 purchase.
Also, I've already decided since yesterday I'm going to get a PS2 first. Locking this.

If you only wanted to buy a few keys to try and uncrate a Strange Festive, that's fine. But spending a lot of money to buy one over a year after they stopped becoming available is just plain stupid.

How could I uncrate a strange festive when there are no naughty crates?
As for the other thing, you have a point.
Would it probably be cheaper to just buy a crapload of keys and trade someone the keys for the weapons?
EDIT: Just found out there ARE some #30's in the market that I can buy for ~75 bucks, so after getting the PS2 (which will definitely last me months of playtime), should I save up for these? Just found out backpack.tf says they're worth $38.

Probably should've mentioned it, but I'm on a hunt to have all the strange weapons. It probably doesn't change your guys' opinion though, so I should probably get the PS2 first, huh?

As of now Gaze Mod (on player look at events) is breaks bottom print messages. All bottom prints won't show up at all with this mod on.

I request that the mod is cleaned up and fixed. It is far too useful to be flawed like that.
I've contacted Xalos, the creator, about it but it seems he hasn't touched it since.
Can somebody please fix Gaze Mod?

Might wanna fix those. ;)

I'm debating on getting either a PS2, or a Strange Festive 2011 item from Team Fortress 2.

I've really wanted to get back to playing the Kingdom Hearts games, which I still own, although I've also really wanted something like a Strange Festive hi-tier so I can get series #30 crate contents. Chances are, our TV can support the PS2, so if it's true...

The main question I have is: Is purchasing a SF like that really worth it?

it's a pretty fun map

I did it with my cousins once. They were going 1 on 1, and constantly switching between classes to strategize. It was fun to watch.
