The iPad Mini seems to me like a iPad, but less bulky. I'd be more comfortable taking pictures with the Mini instead of the "New" iPad. Another advantage to being smaller is that it is closer to the size of a controller, meaning you might be able to play Megaman or first-person shooter games easier on them. I'm not implying FPS games are good on touch devices, though.
Oh, also for anyone who is interested in an iPad, the Mini is cheaper by 20-50 bucks.

iPhone: Touchscreen phones I want proof that there was a touch phone before the iPhone.
iPad: Tablet PC Tablet PC's were expensive as hell.
