To stop the confusion between Prison Escape and Jail break, I will tell you how each one works.

Jail Break (Jail RP)

Prisoners spawn inside a building along with the guards in two separate areas. Normally Prisoners would spawn in a cell, and Guards would spawn in a security room. Prisoners objective would be either to escape the prison building or kill off all the guards, and have to do this strategically so they are not killed in the process. Guards would direct the Prisoners to go somewhere or do something and make sure no one misbehaves for a certain amount of time. Guards wouldn't shoot on sight only if the Prisoner rebels. Prisoners usually would have multiple exits to escape. Overall Jail Break has too many flaws for it to work out well. You have to have constant moderation for there no be no free killing.

Prison Escape

Prison Escape and Jail Break have some similarities but the game play is totally different. In Prison Escape, Prisoners would spawn in cells like always, but the cells would have been already opened as if the Prisoners have already taken the building over, and you're just a prisoner who just woke up. Guards would spawn outside of the building in one of the four towers (one guard per tower) with high powered long ranged weapons such as a Sniper Rifle. Guards will kill on sight, they may get out from there tower and go into the Prison Building to go kill, but Guards will only have 1 life while as Prisoners would have infinite, but have a limited amount of time to escape the Prison Walls. Prisoners would gather up in the Prison and plan group rushes to hope to have at least a few make it to the wall alive, while the rest are blown away. The one's who make it to the wall will take out a chisel (Prisoners spawn with a Chisel which is able to dig and melee). They would then use the Chisel to slowly break away pieces of the wall while the guards fire away at them. To help the Prisoners out since it's a long progress to get through the wall, Prisoners will have access to defensive weapons that will be located in the Prison Building. Such as a Tray which would protect one shot from hitting your chest if you have it out. A bucket that you can wear on your head to prevent a bullet going into your brain. This is where team work gets involved. Other than rushing as a team you also have to protect your team. Say if 3 prisoners make it to the wall, and you can only have a chisel or tray out at a time. Two of the Prisoners could have there tray out to protect the guy in the middle who is chiseling away at the wall. Also if you get enough prisoners to survive the rush to the wall, you can attempt to jump on each others head to get over the wall to end the game quickly. It is a hard process to stack a tall straight line while being shot at with one shot kill weapons, so it's risky to do and can waste time. This isn't the only thing you can do in Prison Escape, you can also rush Guard towers to take out the guards first to make it easier to escape the prison, or use soap which is used to blind the guard temporarily. Prisoners seem to have more fun then the guards will, so we will be adding in some AI which can predict player movements. So we can switch from human guard to an AI guard.

If you have any questions about Prison Escape that I did not answer in the above explanation, please ask. I may have forgotten something.

Didn't you already make a topic about some Flash Animation test? Try to keep it all on one topic, lol. Anyways the videos look fine and all, but lets see some more movement. All you have right now are standing characters blinking or talking. Lets see some action! :D

This will not be a Jail RP. If anyone remembers Pload's Prison Escape, that's basically what it's going to be. If you don't know what it is, you can search the BL forums and find it. Yes, you may rate this build.

In the above picture Prisoners will not have access to Rocket Launchers neither will the Guards. There will not be any vehicles. Also there would only be 1 guard per tower. Prisoners will not be carrying a crowbar it will be a chisel instead. I only added this to make the image look epic :)

Will it be like looking through a camera the entire game?
What do you mean? Explain.

Games / Battlefield 3 Megathread
« on: May 17, 2011, 09:05:26 PM »

This will not be a console port to the PC, instead the other way around, PC to Console. No it's not Bad Company 3. It's part of the Battlefield franchise, not the Bad Company franchise. Battlefield 3 is a first person shooter action video game, the sequel to Battlefield 2. It is set to be released in Fall of 2011 on Windows, PS3, and Xbox360.

Gameplay
Battlefield 3 will have Singeplayer, Cooperative, and Multiplayer modes. For Multiplayer you will be able to have 64 player matches (PC version only), only 32 players on console. Prone is back, which was left out in Bad Company 2. Battlefield 3 will be using a new character animation called ANT which is used by EA Sports games. Battlefield will also have destruction just as BC2 had, and will be using Frostbite 2.0. The game will feature maps set in Paris, Tehran, Sarajevo, Sulaymaniyah, New York and Oman. Combat will take place in Urban streets, and also in open landscapes for vehicle combat.

Discuss anything about Battlefield 3 here. Maybe something you want to see in it! Or how you'll need to upgrade your PC to be able to run it! Or tell me what I should add/remove to the thread.

Try to keep this topic alive to at least Battlefield 3 release date!

Empires Dawn of the Modern World, it's an older RTS game, made in 2003. It's not free but it's probably quite cheap for being so old. It would definitely run on almost any machine, and it stills looks pretty good for being so old. Sadly it doesn't have any online multiplayer since they shut down the Gamespy server a few years back, but you can still play with friends but they would have to connect to you through your IP.

I don't know, you should go ask a forum that specializes in GTA IV problems. I bet they know more than we do about it.

When you're buying something expensive you want to make sure you know everything about it. I used to not know any knowledge of PC hardware. I then wanted to build a new computer. Then I had to learn some basic things I needed to know, so I would be able to run everything that I wanted to. I actually didn't spend too much only about $850-$900, back in 2009. It runs every game on the market at about medium-high graphics settings, with no lag issues.

I also agree with everything Miga said.
When you buy a PC, you know you have a perfectly good chance to look at what comes with it, right?

Intel GPUs are meant for business/everyday use (inernet browsing, just general PC use), not gaming. They won't stop making GPUs because they offer low-end GPUs that are excellent on battery to those who need it.

So, basically, don't complain about how nothing runs because you had a perfectly good chance to look a what came with it and threw that chance away. Any smart person knows not to get a computer with Intel graphics if they want to game.

So basically, yeah. Don't complain. Just get a new GPU, or a new laptop if you bought a laptop expecting to do games on it.

Did you google this problem? Why are you asking a bunch of Blocklanders? Go to a forum that specializes into these kinds of problems. You'll be lucky if someone on here can help you.
