I have a similar graphics chipset to yours - I have to run on DX8.1 and medium settings and I get a decent framerate. Most servers with more than 16 players are generally unplayable.

6:30 in west africa and the azores right now. Nothing's happening.

I can't wait to see what this handicap's excuse is.

Do your research, jackoff. Actually, scroll up a little, and tell me which platform has more titles.

You're the jackoff here - he said "exclusives," not "amount of titles."

Do I want to back up my stuff?  Or can I multi boot it with XP?

Ubuntu has a reliable option to automatically multi-boot itself during setup - you should back up just in case something screws up, even though it's unlikely. I'm not 100% sure if MoonOS has this, but since it is Ubuntu based it probably does.

If not, head to Google and look up tutorials for dual booting Linux. There's tons of them and it's not that hard if you know what you're doing.

What is a distro that doesn't require internet to do a lot of things, easy to use, and no Ubuntu variants.

Internet is almost obligatory for ANY operating system made in the past decade.
Ubuntu is as easy as it gets, but I would recommend Fedora or something.

is it faster then ubuntu?

It is Ubuntu, just with a dock and different theme.

Like I said, use an OS that contains absolutely no proprietary elements.

That's a true GNU/Linux user's distribution.

That's not what I was replying to. I was confused at the fact that you said Gentoo was a beginner's distro.

Do you have a parent or friend who can set up an OS like Windows easily but isn't that computer literate? Get them to install Ubuntu and they'll probably think it's easy. Then, tell them to install Gentoo and they'll either a) ragequit or b) forget something up.

OP is probably a hipster.
It won't kill you to at least try Firefox or Chrome, so why aren't you taking anyone's advice?

Arch and Gentoo, I would say, also count as "beginner distributions" of Linux.

Gentoo
"beginner distribution"
wait what

I used to use Arch, I just find Ubuntu easier.  And if it's frowned upon, why don't I see people besides you guys bashing it?
Because Ubuntu is the only distro that the Blockland forums seems to ever use, and like Tom said, just to seem cool, basically. If you went somewhere that wasn't here or the Ubuntu Forums you will find that people who use Ubuntu who aren't new to linux aren't treated quite the same.

What's wrong with Ubuntu?

It's the beginners' distro and is generally frowned upon by the experienced Linux community.

Arch and Gentoo represent :U

no, vista glazz will forget up your memory disk.

1. It doesn't forget up anything if you do it right
2. There's no such thing as a "memory disk." You're either thinking of RAM or your hard drive, neither of which this thing affects.

IRC is just broken like that.

It isn't broken, the OP just didn't register his name like any IRCer should.

then I spoiled he played Blockland and he started spamming my youtube inbox untill I reported him and got him banned for like a week. Then he continued so I had to close my youtube account and make another by the name OZero. He blocked me from his youtube page after I told every single "Noob fan" That he played blockland,he also removed my post on his user accounts and later in blockland he banned me for the reason Gay Fish.

Your in denial.

Why is it this hard to accept that the Flesk on Blockland is an imposter? The flesk that you all know so well is a popular person, so it only makes sense.

As Fruit said earlier, the one on Blockland admitted on my or a friend's server once that he was a 9-year-old child and acted nothing like the one on Roblox/YouTube does. I also sent a message to the one on YouTube asking if he played Blockland (and if he did, he would almost certainly know who I was, since I was a good friend of the fake at the time), but he said it was just another imposter. I have a screenshot of the messages somewhere and I'll post it if I find it.

Oh, and what about his in denial?
