Off Topic / NASA is sending Lego minifigs to Jupiter
« on: August 05, 2011, 08:21:00 PM »
Thought the forums might get a kick out of this. They're hitching a ride aboard the Juno orbiter which is going to research Jupiter's atmosphere.

I am on a 60 gig cap.

My ISP doesn't seem to care though. They don't give you a meter showing how much you've used/have left, and I'm pretty sure I went over 60 the last 2 months but never heard a thing.

You may all call me stupid for this, but what's a gparted?

http://gparted.sourceforge.net/

download the livecd .iso and burn it to a CD/flash drive, then boot from it

I would recommend backing up anything important before repartitioning in case you screw something up

Hey i_want_to, what are the specs of your computer?

Burn gparted to a CD, pop it in, and shrink your W7 partition by at least 10 gigs. Insert Vista CD and install it to the unallocated space. Use easybcd to add W7 to the boot menu.

This is called dual-booting. This way you'll be able to use either OS.

Ask me a question a spam bot can't answer and I will be glad to answer...

What is Blockland?

OP's only posts on this forum are in this thread. Probably a spambot.

edit: goddammit ninja'd

There is no such feature yet, but there's an update to Return to Blockland coming out soon that will have this.

On topic, it appears this script requires RTB, and all it does is send a force a connect before sending the standard "Webcom_postserver" after the host updates rtb prefs, an odd approach. In his defense, I can't see how talking about a script can include much bias.

From what I've heard, this method doesn't seem to work all the time.  I just hope this script works. I have an Arch Linux server that I can't run a BL dedicated on because of its problems with Wine.

Works absolutely fine for me. Try a virus scan? You might have one that's hijacking pages.

I thought this thread was going to be about youtube getting another godawful update.

I use Linux, therefore I have no limit  :cookieMonster:

I like plain stuff though, I hardly have anything on my desktop.

Yes there are, but they slow your CPU down dramatically.  I would just save 100$ and get Windows 7.

Only if your computer is garbage.

OP: A simple google search returned this: http://windows-7-theme.en.softonic.com/
Looks promising.

Brown walls could go, but other than that, I'm interested in what the final result will look like.
