I got in the beta...after the tutorial and one match I decided I didn't really like it.  Since you can't change your characters class (and can only have 4 characters or so, and can't delete them at the time of writing), you don't really have a way of finding out what class you prefer (in TF2, you can just change classes at will).

Plus, the timed-expiration buying stuff thing really really annoys me, and is why I don't really like to play GunBound, Upshift Strikeracer, Combat Arms, and a few others (other than because I don't really like some of them), because you can work hard for a cool upgrade and it'll disappear if you get bored and don't play for a while.

(Yes, I know you can just choose "Buy Permanent" sometimes, but really, I don't want to pay 5x more for an item than it's worth if I'm gonna get a better one in a few levels or whatever)

FACE.

Also, this looks great, but I really doubt my computer could run it, seeing as it just barely manages L4D.

Hmm, I have a guitar hero controller...if it works with the demo of this, I'll try it.  The whole guitar-control thing sounds like Fret Nice (which was awesome).

Chrono Trigger for DS is fun if you haven't played it on some other platform.

Burnout Paradise is awesome.  I don't know if it's that much racing, so much as crashing into stuff, but it's still fun, and there's a demo of it.

Suggestions & Requests / Re: Old Pokeball Script
« on: March 22, 2009, 09:45:54 PM »
The download was removed for a reason - it was stupid and lagged, and was just plain annoying when someone all of a sudden realized the server had it enabled and started capturing people.  It shouldn't be ported or re-released in my opinion.

If you must port it, please, don't release it.

EDIT: And since I'm guessing none of you know considering Bushido was the one who posted it, I was the one who made the pokeball.

Suggestions & Requests / Re: how 'bout 1 massive server?

I think he means like one server that leads to everyone else's servers, not one server the size of all the servers combined.

Queue system is much better than it was a while ago (I had 32k, got to 500, then bounced back to 34k once).  I love playing Space CTF when no-one instantly snipes me into space (which is rare).  Fun game though, I like all the stat tracking.

General Discussion / Re: Old beta user finally comes to retail (that's me!)
« on: February 12, 2009, 08:45:00 PM »
When many of the old users started playing Retail, they were bothered by the same things.  The more you play, the more used to it you get, and eventually you'll wonder how you managed to get by without the new stuff.
