First seasons kicked ass.. After that, they were like hey lets take this show, and make it something, COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

I think that supports my statement...

Modern-day animators and cartoonists have different understandings of what children like these days; the people that don't like what Hollywood's stuffting into our televisions these days are stuck in the past and actually have good taste in television.

Phineas and Ferb used to have humor, now it's like, "LOEL RANDUM SHYT"

The early episodes of shows are, IMO, 90% of the time better than newer episodes. At least in cartoons.

It's not that every battle toy needs its own anime show, it's that every anime show needs its own battle toy.

Take Transformers for instance. Unless I'm much mistaken, the series came before the toy line.

And as for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, there were enough action figures inspired by that series to give every soldier in the US army a unique action figure.
