MEANWHILE

The black goop that made up the fake Carol started dripping into a puddle. It didn't have enough energy to get back to it's old self, but it had just enough to get back in the game, at the cost of an eye, shoulder, an arm, a knee, and half of it's torso. This thing couldn't steal energy anymore, but now it could mend into any shape, and instead of killing them in a subtle way with affection, now it'll just suffocate it's foes...

That'll hurt...
