I looked at carol intensely. "Something seems... off about what today will be like. Like fate is going to fire a broadside of twists at everyone." I thought a moment, but then decided the feeling was untrue and hugged carol back. "I'm sure it's just in my head..."

I sat up a bit more and hugged Zombie tightly again. "Sleep well...?" I asked.

"Yeah, I did."

I wake up, but I have to tear my eyes open. My shirt was somewhere and the girls enjoyed the night. "Wake up sleepy heads" I said. They both woke up, and got out of bed, with my following. I looked around but my shirt was nowhere to be seen. I looked over at Zombie and Carol. "Do you know what happened to my shirt...?"

"Can't say I have..."

Psychiatry is a medical profession, you would be studying mental disorders and the biological makeup of the brain. Of course, you'd have to understand human behavior, personality, etc, but you would more so be working along side doctors or psychologists who reroute patients to you so they can get medical treatment. There are psychiatrists who rarely ever see a patient outside of giving them their prescription.

I mean, not that it isn't a good field, it could use people who care for their patients, believe me. But you seem to be looking more for a hands-on field, actually studying people and their mind by talking with them and helping them sort their issues, yes?

I've done my homework on it. It seems to me to be a very nice field to go into.

I am vastly interested in space. I think shutting down NASA was one of the worst moves Obama could possibly have made. Space is just... it, simply put inspires, nay, DEMANDS awe. You can look up at the sky, and see millions upon millions of stars with the right equipment. You can see planets in our solar system and how amazingly intricate the landscape of each planet is.

The topic here, Forumers, is this:
Is the colonization of other planets possible, and to what extent if so? Could humans in the future set foot on other planets and be able to build metropolises much like those on our homeworld?
What techniques could be used to accomplish the task of colonization?

The principle elements for colonization would be...
>Shelter
>Water
>Food
>Oxygen

I think if man could tackle each one of these, they could establish a working colony. But, the question remains...

How?

I couldn't get the smell of smoke away. I thought about waking carol up, but I decided to wait until there was real danger involved.
