so i make a gmod server and it shows as lan, im trying to play with one of my friends but they can't seem to join my gmod server. I know that you can port forward but i dont want to mess up anything so does anyone know how i can make a server? it won't even show up on the server list! it shows as lan...

you can't host unless you port forward or use hamachi
