It's an acquired taste, and most of the bands I listen to have a mix of epic breakdowns/screaming and great melodies/harmonies/singing in general.the thing about metal is that its good if im pumped, but theres no way that it could be the only thing i listen to, and right now i have through the fire and flames and a song called godspeed by anberlin (not sure if you can classify that as metal or not)

I like classic rock, and various sub genres of metal.
