There are two little things about this that I have discovered:
1. It gives odd console messages whenever Renderman himself appears, i.e.
What are you looking at?

2. For me, playing in the Dark Kitchen, Renderman occaisionally spawns in midair and dies of falling damage XD

If you want to get anywhere far with this, i would learn some things first.
I learn as I go. I've looked at every bit of the ZAPT script to find any references to the Tanks for later replacement with a version more resembling Rotondo's.
I tend to learn by trial and error. I learned to always change the process names when copying in additional code; I accidentally overwrote part of the Guns Akimbo datablock with an akimbo weapon of my own once because I forgot to change 'lefthandedgunimage'.

I know enough to get by, it takes me a while but I do catch on.
Editing is easier than creating, of course.
I have yet to test my modifications, but if they work, then I may be less of a noob than I sound.

Basically, people tend to prefer Rotondo's zombie mod over ZAPT. I myself used to prefer zombie mod for two reasons:
1. Epic tank model
2. ZAPT brick damage issues

I am working to fix both of these in an edit to ZAPT.
I'm thinking an RTB pref for whether or not Zombies can break bricks, this would be completely separate from player brick damage. I think I found the piece of code that circumvented the brick damage server pref, so I am probably capable of fixing it.
As for the zombie mod tank model, who made it? I want to ask to see if I could get permission.

Another thing: Does anyone have any sort of contact with Iban at all? I want to know if he's basically just letting this thing off to whoever wants to tamper with it.

Also, if you prefer zombiemod over ZAPT, could you post the reasons here? I'm lookin to get people to appreciate ZAPT, because of the more sophisticated AI. It would be nice if people scripted add-ons to work with ZAPT as well as with zombiemod.

At least, it did the first time and it actually let me online. I made no changes to the computer security settings between then and now. How odd.

I found a similar issue; If you host a server (single player mode, idk about internet) then change map, BL gets stuck loading the new map.

Both of the new launchers give me the same error.

I've also noticed that when I download Blockland on windows, transfer all the files to Mac's blockland, the lower bar progresses about 10% and then a different error message comes up telling me that OS_X/Blockland is missing.

From that I can tell it is indeed something to do with file permissions or something like that, but I don't know what specifically to change as I've tried changing everything in the Blockland folder including the folder itself to all "read-and-write".

I have attached my launcher.log below.

This is the problem I am getting. I DID set the whole freakin thing to read-and-write, but blockland unsets itself or something to that effect, cause I have done it three times and it didnt change a freakin thing.

Yeah - if your web browser can get to the page but Blockland can't it means something weird is going on. What happens if you try another web browser on the same computer?

Hang on, now I am getting launcher problems. Some stupid SQL error. No number. It cant write to cache database.

Maybe make a prefs file to choose what folder Blockland loads as other stuff?

Furthermore, when it was still working, it didn't turn on any non-default addons. The only new brix and vehicles were the stuff for ZAPT which I had enabled. It said in the console it loaded everythign else but it still didnt work. What the heck is this thing's problem?!?

Ok, Im getting an SQL error now whenever I try. It doesn't even get to writing the launcher.log
It says that it could not write to cache database. Please ensure that K:/Blockland/New_Folder is writable.
