Help / People can't connect to my un-dedicated server
« on: January 18, 2012, 09:41:05 PM »
For some reason, whenever I try to host a Blockland server, no one can join (just says "sending punch packet...") for infinity.

I saw something on port forwarding from Badspot, and I showed it to my dad (cause I'm a good kid) and he knows a LOT about computers.

Anyway, Port Fowarding is risky, and the post freaked us out since Baddy said, "Kids, try this when your parents are not home." Also, even worse, the post is from 2008. It's 2012 now.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Also, don't post crap on here. Don't tell me I have a 'bleeping' router, because it has worked before.

Games / ROBLOX and BLOCKLAND - Which one's better?
« on: June 20, 2011, 11:34:22 PM »
Before Blockland, my best friend introduced me to ROBLOX, and I was a member for about a year. In the middle of that year I bought regular Builders Club (and I was a master builder on ROBLOX for a long time). Then I searched "ROBLOX" on 'wikipedia.org' and read that ROBLOX had a rival, "Blockland".

I checked out the website, and it looked pretty interesting. I downloaded the Demo, and I absolutely hated Blockland.

I tried it out about a month later after ACTUALLY READING ABOUT HOW TO USE THE TOOLS. I started building on the demo, and I really was starting to like Blockland. I asked my father if he could use his amazon account to buy it for me, and the next week he did when he had time.

After I started playing for a while, I drew the conclusion that Blockland was a better game for getting help and support from the other players. For starters on ROBLOX, people will call you an idiot or a noob (usually a noob) when you start asking questions. FORGET about getting help and support on ROBLOX. The most you can learn from the ROBLOX website is how to start up ROBLOX.

On Blockland, the nice thing is that you can give specific players on your server the capability to build with full access to tools, when on ROBLOX the build tools offered to the non-creator are pieces of complete crap. I learned how to master prints (even though for some reason the add-ons aren't working on my computer).

Then I switched to Blockland, pretty much permanently. Blockland is awesome.

However Blockland has it's goods and bads, while ROBLOX also has it's own goods and bads. Post anything you want on this topic concerning facts about ROBLOX or Blockland, and feel free to say anything. PLEASE.

That's pretty much all I have to say here. POST!!!
