He speaks the truth about giving admin to random people. Just because they helped you doesn't mean they should get admin automatically.

Adults are not babylike
We make a bigger emotion deal out of dogs than adult humans because it triggers a parental instinct since dogs are babylike.
Jairo's point is that if a dog dies in a horror movie, we care more than if a human dies. Well if it's an adult human, we wouldn't care as much. But if it's a dog or baby we would actually care even if we know the movie is fake due to parental instincts.
What am I missing here?

The reason people go batstuff in animal abuse topics is because dogs are cute, because they are babylike, which triggers a paternal instinct. Technically, it is the sanest reaction.

God, if it's not a 1 hit kill, wouldn't you want to make sure it's dead instead of having suffer? The dog was trespassing on his property regardless, and it annoyed him, he has every right to take action to get it off his property. Remember the dog did it repeatedly.
That's torturing either way. You are hitting it several times until it dies. That's painful. Let animal control take care of those dogs. Can you just stop now?
