Valentine's Day is the holiday of love and stuff, is it so hard to grasp how it's interesting I discovered the true nature of my loveual orientation around that holiday?
Valentine was a priest back in the time of Roman ruler Cladius (unsure of the spelling of the name and too lazy to google it) who did not like men to get married as it discouraged them from fully focusing on being good soldiers for him and therefore tried to punish those who married people. Valentine thought this was wrong and continued to marry people anyway in secret however he got caught and the ruler got pissed and punished him by first beating him, followed by stoning him and finally decapitating him. Before he died he wrote a note to some dude's daughter and signed it "From your valentine"

I seriously have never understood Glass' logic. The only theory I've ever been able to come to is that throughout the Glass cycle when he turns "bad" he goes off on one then after a couple of months seeks forgiveness. What I see is that he is trying to fit back in and turn the focus on other people and constantly insult them for things he has known to do in the past. That's just what I think.
