Help / Problem with New Brick Textures

Whenever I install new brick textures, I still see the default ones.
Here's what I do:
1.  I download the new textures.
2.  I move the default textures to a secure location.
3.  I put the new textures in C:\Users\<MY NAME>\Documents\Blockland\base\data\shapes\
I then get onto Blockland, and I still see the default textures.
And yes, this is on MY server, no someone else's.  I'm not an idiot.

Also, I'm not setting the new textures to read-only.
Reason:
Whenever there is a Blockland update and you have files set to read-only, Blockland just acts like crap.

How do I fix this WITHOUT setting the new textures to read-only.

Help / How to make EVERYONE on your server here a song?

Pretty much, I've been to servers where I can hear some music in the background all around the server.
Some of them used long range music bricks, but their volume actually changed as I got different distances away from the source.
There have been some servers where I can hear the music at the same volume no matter where I am.

What add-on is this?  I'd like to use it.

P.S.  If I'm mistaken and there's no such add-on, can someone please try to make it?

Help / HOW THE HECK DO I MAKE BRICKS?!

     A lot of people have made bricks, but I've done a bunch of research, and there is NOTHING that tells you how to make bricks.
     Now, since the Blockland FAQ says,

Q: How do I make add-ons?
A:
If you don't learn how to do this yourself, you'll never be able to do it.

, I'm just going to ask, if you've made a brick add-on before, HOW DID YOU FIND OUT HOW TO MAKE BRICKS?

Help / Deleted Default Brick Textures

I replaced my brick textures, but I forgot to move the defaults somewhere else to back it up.
(I admit it, I'm a complete idiot.)
Can someone please attach the default ones, please?

Help / Where are my Add-Ons?

I had uploaded Makanix Money quite a while ago to RTB, and it's still there.
Just recently, I had uploaded four more add-ons to RTB, but now they've dissapeared and don't show up in my FileCP.
I at first thought that they must have been failed and I checked the fail bin (all 45 pages), but they weren't there either.
Also, for every time I edited the description of the add-ons, my FileCP INSTEAD says, "You edited the following file: Makanix Money"

Where did my add-ons go?

Help / Color Set's Having Problems

I made a new color set for Blockland.
I think the problem may be that I went past some kind of limit.

My colorset has ten different categories of colors, with ten colors in each.

Did this over-go the limit?

Preventing Getting Banned/Kicked
1. Don't keep annoying admins by shooting them with a gun add-on that you've never seen before.  This defies you as a noob.
2. Don't keep begging for admin.  This also defies you as a noob.
3. Build on baseplates.  Not building on a baseplate is considered spam.
4. Don't spam with your build (too many 1x1s, 1x1fs, 1x1x5s, etc.).  This is, DUH, also considered spam.
5. Listen to anything that the admin says.  Self explanitory.
6. Don't call admins stupid.  Self explanitory.
7. Don't call the server stupid.  If it's stupid, just leave.
8. Don't click on something when a wrench is pointed at it.  This makes you look like an idiot.

Help / Rocket Launcher Still Shoots Spears

I typed into the console:

rocketlauncherimage.projectile = spearprojectile;

Later to stop the rocket launcher from shooting spears, I typed into the console:

Code: [Select]

rocketlauncherimage.projectile = rocketlauncherprojectile;

But it still shot spears
What did I do wrong?

Hey, I was deleting some old crap from my files when I accidently deleted the Blockland launcher in my Local Disk files.
Is there any way to get it back without paying for Blockland again, or am I screwed?

Help / Can't Upload Files to RTB

I'm currently trying to upload a file to RTB.
But there's a huge problem.

After I upload the images I want and press next, it should go to the processing step, but instead, it sends me to the login page.
I log back in, then it returns me to the beginning of the uploading steps.

What's wrong?

Changes to the launcher:

• Fixed issues with locating the "my documents" folder if it was not called "my documents"
• CDN Downloads are now compressed

In addition to saving ~20% on bandwidth, the compressed downloads should avoid the problem of ISPs interfering with downloads.  If you use the mobile or dial-up internet access and had previously had problems with the launcher failing to download some files, try the new version.  The new launcher should also fix confusion between "documents" and "my documents" and some foreign language installs.
