looks really cool. did you use any references or is this kind of just straight up?

Well, one of the reasons I like making mini maps is because I'm good at free-style outlining.

So, all of this was me... Even the filling, unfortunately.

I love mini empires, but I also love making mini maps.

I decided to make a mini-map because it is a surprising mix between boring and fun.

So here are a few pics I took. Quality is a little bad but it's what I could do.

Now for size comparisons

I know it isn't the best as far as details goes, but I like it.
It took me about 10-20 hours work if I were to give it a rough guess. A lot of filling time.

Hosting a mini empires is a little complicated for me so I wanted this to see the light of day in case I never do.

Suggestions & Requests / Horizontal/Vertical poles download
« on: October 26, 2014, 04:21:39 PM »
I need the download for the horizontal/vertical poles. I don't have it for some reason.

There don't seem to be any working downloads on the forums

Edit: Turns out I found it while looking on the RTB archives.

For those who don't have it, go to http://lugnut.co.vu/add_ons/ and ctrl+f "horizpole"

Drama / Re: nobody cares how old you are.

I think you are mixing what people actually think. fortunately, a few of us are not self-loathing cynical narcissists(crazy rite) and either 1. do care 2. don't mind

Nothing against OP but the whole "nobody cares" thing is becoming annoying. Did you know the entire Drama board is full of these threads we would other wise have no interest in? I mean, come on man - ignore it.

Off Topic / Re: Which pair of Jordans should I get?

Vans > everything else

Vans are... ok... But they definitely don't belong in the high ranks. And I'm not saying this because I own Jordans. Jordans aren't even the best out there. There is definitely better looking shoes then what you wore in 7th grade and thought was the stuff (vans)

Shoes mean a lot more to a look than most people realize.

What shoes do you losers like then

Or are you so out of it because your mothers never taught you how to dress yourselves

Jordans are quite in fashion these days, honestly I'd recommend them.

Get a color that sticks out but doesn't make you look like a clown.

This is one of the greater answers, we should use this or badspot should sticky this answer. Nice and brief.

Also, getting a little tired of these nerds:

I'm still surprised that someone who has not played for a year wouldn't know why everything is different

I am in denial/internally upset about maps going away but I worship Badspot so I take my anger out on people who aren't afraid to speak out.

I'm still surprised that someone who has not played for a year wouldn't know why everything is different

Help / Re: I cannot find any hosting services
« on: October 18, 2014, 02:00:15 PM »
If you use a Windows VPS it's pretty straightforward. You get a remote desktop tool, and then you go ahead and just download and install everything like you would on your normal computer. Drawback is mainly that Windows Server costs money, and most VPS hosts will charge you more to cover that for you.

Also if you want to be able to move files directly from your computer to the VPS and back, you'll want to set up Filezilla server on it.

Alright. I'll consider using a VPS. Thanks

Presently the best option is to rent a Windows VPS. If you're more tech savvy, then you could cut the cost more by running on a Linux VPS.

Also prepare for a bunch of people to jump in telling you to use CBM even though they have no openings.

Is there any more information I can find on how to use a vps for a dedicated server?

Add-Ons / Re: BlockoBlocko's Colorset
« on: October 17, 2014, 11:54:20 PM »
Sorry for bumping an old topic, but this is a great colorset (esp. for merp).

For all merp hosters - get this. Good job Blocko.

I think you're missing a certain skin up there dead

I love this addon. Skoops armor works well with it too, great for Medieval mini-games!

The armors were made to go with them. Although it was my decision to make it, I thought some armors would go well with these swords. Thanks.

Add-Ons / Re: SkoopDaHoop's and Deadzone's Medieval Armor (FIXED)
« on: October 15, 2014, 03:02:00 PM »
I think you should do something along the lines of fallout. Banded armor made from scraps you found, etc.

Along the lines of scrapped armor?

Are the items names have CC_(name)?

Yes, don't wonder why it's not that interesting. But hey, easier to find, I guess
