once upon a time i got bored and made this:

you turn on the machine which makes the lights glow and the ramps to disappear and reappear, you click the "=" to launch ping-pongs and try to get them into the hole at the end, which adds up your score. all default

Games / Can't run HL2 mods?

I'm trying to run a hl2 mod, it's called missinginfo I think; but for some reason every time I start up the game, it has a white screen, makes some noises, and opens up an error that says "Can't find background image materials/console/startup_loading.vtf". I tried it with another mod and it did the same thing. I put the mod files in a folder called sourcemods under steamapps (I was told to do this in the installation guide). Am I doing anything wrong?
