i think it's better to just negate the alt issue by not being an annoying handicap on the internet

i actually don't use online recipes though, they run like stuff on your phone and waste your time for the most part. i just slap stuff into a frying pan and add spices and see what works. manged to end up making a tasty steak that way. if i do use a recipe i just follow what my mother taught me 😊 tallarines verdes is one of my favorites.

ike definitely started the big chungus meme, but not the "ps4-big-chungus-game" picture that actually made it take off
ah alright, makes sense. i think i saw it spread around on discord back then before it became a huge thing but i still can't forget the memories of 30 year olds calling random aircraft parts a chungus in class.
he took the exact screenshot of big chungus and posted it in the clique group all the time and it became an inside joke for us. at the time we just called it Fat Bugs Bunny. he also posted it on /x/ and it became an /x/ meme for a while before turning into Big chungus
lol a bit of the same thing happened with me and another guy before with that seal eating cement meme that went around for a little bit. i spammed the original image in a private server, someone else made the caption, i ended up posting it elsewhere cause i thought it was funny, and now i have my reddit account on a loving know your meme article.

a few weeks ago i was looking for a new flight sim chair. ended up being too expensive for my budget at the moment but i decided to browse around the site for a bit. noticed a giant notice bar up on top stating that since it was the holiday season order tracking would be a bit hectic and they had a discord server for real time updates. thought it was strange and stupid but had no effect on me at the moment.

a bit after that i was trying to get some local splitscreen for halo mcc set up on my computer so i could play with my friend on the new workshop maps. stuff wasn't working right so i asked some questions in various discussion groups online and long story short i ended up being sent a link to a message in a discord server, one that i wasn't in. told the guy that and he just said oh join the server linked up on top sorry. i eventually fixed my problem so i left the server. a few weeks later i tried again and stuff didn't work for a different reason this time so i had to rejoin again just to figure out what the hell was going on (master server went down twice that day and there wasn't much communication to users about it).
actually similar stuff like that has happened to me for multiple games that now either i or my friends are in servers for:

 -halo custom edition
 -nucleuscoop
-some sonic riders online matching system
 -old cod games multiplayer software
-loving touhou 9 stuff for online play

all just for support. and i feel like i can't leave them because all this old stuff is held together by strings and craft glue by third party programmers and i know something will happen again and i don't want to hunt down a server link.

and like a week ago i tried downloading some blockland add-on from 2017 only to be greeted with a dead discord url as its host.

like what the forget? stop off-sourcing your support and downloads to discord. not everyone has it, not everyone wants it, its developed by incompetent child enthusiasts, and it isn't going to last forever. the only advantage are real time convos, and that's only if there's someone online who can help. most of the time you'll send a message out into the void with no response or you're just sending a message to a channel that'll get drowned with a bunch of other questions before yours can even get looked at. it's as bad as when you had to sign up for a bunch of independent forums just to get some answers. i wonder how many of those are shut down forever. honestly just using reddit has been better for me than joining any random person's server has ever been. so glad i haven't had to join a server just to get some yt-dlp troubleshooting help.

ike made big chungus famous? the forget? can he like, undo that, or something. i had to listen to people call everything a chungus well into 2020 during tech school and it was awful.

this place was always treated as some 4chan-lite ran by some dude who never learned to give any stuff. badspot was always over cynical and it rubbed off onto the lonely children and reject adults who perused this site. got to have power over someone i guess.
if it was just a bunch of teenage spat (as it was most of the time) i wouldn't really care in the long run, but the laissez-faire moderation for anything but explicit research and gore that allowed child enthusiasts and loveual degenerates to run around until enough people got fed up is bullstuff. if badspot didn't want to touch the site outside of maintenance that's fine, but for a time there were tons of people willing to waste their time moderating the forum and i don't understand why he didn't just set up some process to get some proper mods. or just tell the few mods he had to do it for him. he already had people treat him as infallible, doubt the ones who didn't were going to kill his product over forum moderation.

even then after a certain point it was just a self feeding cycle. inactive administration allowing loser adults to feed their own personalities into the younger users who don't have much else, those users defend the adults cause they're the "cool" guys, they grow up and nothing has changed (either in their life or on the forums) to keep them from doing the same thing, process repeats ad-infinitum. being in my 20s now makes me realize that half of the adults active on the forums back in the day were unbelievably pathetic and i hope they're in prison by now.

not possible because blockland is for children
so are legos but that doesn't stop manchildren from buying 900 dollar sets.

these guys aren't really the creep types though. more of lonely old men who take stuff too seriously and cling onto niche stuff. they're fun to interact with but are also pretty annoying. if they were to groom someone it would probably be late teens than the 12 year olds the degens here wanted. just watch out for the english, britian is child enthusiast island.

every time i start up an old shooter (hl2 deathmatch, cs source, red orchestra) the only active servers and groups i find are made up of german and slavic men in their 40s with the odd mediterranean in the mix. if only blockland attracted this mystic population a few years back, we could still have annoyingly intricate city rps active in the server list

i just always remember seeing your name here and ingame during the 2010's. I added you on discord from the ID you have in your signature. idk if we still play the same games but i might msg you every now and then with some kinda pun if you accept
if you did i didn't get it. unless if you were that chadzar guy from a few weeks ago, i thought that was a spam bot

EpicDuke I know you're here I just wanna say uhh,  hi!
hello. to be honest i don't really remember you, sorry. do you have me on steam already? i have a bunch of blockland guys on steam and discord but i never talk to them. they might as well not be there.

the only guy i really remember is someone who i made some stupid whale video with, at least i think it was a video. we made a few builds together that he hosted on his server but i honestly can't remember his name or even what year this was. i think i posted some of our stuff in the gallery but i can't really be assed to look for it. i know i drew something for it, though i think i lost it when i went from a laptop to a pc.

besides him there was that group i played those autistic nation rps with in the forum games section but i never really called them friends. jairo is in my steam friends list and that's about it.
ngl kinda wonder if Pie Crust is still alive or not, havent seen him in years and he doesnt respond on discord / steam anymore

it's not gay at all. your friends are speaking from their internalized homoeroticism
I'd say it's kinda flamboyant and sassy at the least
thank you, i will forward this to them so they can educate themselves. i agree that it's more sassy than gay
is this pose gay. my friends says it is but i don't see it

he's just showing off his male form. there's nothing wrong with appreciating the results of hard work and discipline.
