Off Topic / Re: On a scale of 1-10, how annoying are Spotify ads?

Sure, but do you actually have the time or want to listen to all of the available music in their library? How often do you choose to listen to the same song/album? How often do you find a song you don't like and want to skip? Do you like being forced to use their app for "Offline Listening"? Do you like being forced to listen to the result of stuffty audio compression techniques?

In my opinion it's just a silly argument. all i need is a 1TB microsd card and I can play a good portion of my library any where I go without any hangups, WiFi/data, payments, UI/GUIS, and bullstuff ads. Imagine actually owning music you wanted to listen to haha.
Having a large offline library is pretty convenient, but some of us enjoy listening to new releases and exploring discographies we don't yet own. nothing wrong with keeping a massive library on SD cards (I do the exact same thing so I know it's handy), but you're acting like using spotify prevents the user from skipping songs or returning to favorite albums. also spotify members can stream audio in lossless format so poor audio quality isn't really a problem

Off Topic / Re: Why would anyone still use a record player?

the only reason I collect vinyls is because some of my favorite albums have been compressed up the ass over the years and vinyls are immune to that stuff
it really depends on how the music was mastered. a highly compressed digital recording can be pressed to vinyl and then you have the exact same problem. almost every modern album is a digital master regardless of whether it's on vinyl or CD. for example, I've got CDs from the 80s that are less compressed than remasters from the 2000s.

Looks great! Will this be a tdm?
yup, I'm thinking the finished map will be used for tdm and ctf, with weapons and player spawns placed in roughly the same locations as in Halo

also, attending a concert and buying a vinyl record (any merch really) is a great way to support the artist. there's no online retailer taking a cut when you buy in-person. I would think most of that money is going straight to the artist so they can pay for the studio time they spent recording the album, advances afforded to them by their label, touring costs, etc.

It's not to 'own' anyone, it's an edgy meme that I posted because it's relevant to the topic at hand and I find it funny.
You're not sitting here 'chilling', you're butthurt that I corrected the guy. Nobody is scared of gays.

Here, I'll help you find it since you're clearly incapable (which is why I called you handicapped):

He is equating being angered/disgusted by gay folk to being SCARED of your shadow. This is all of the help I can give. You'll find it eventually, I believe in you!
Parroting people doesn't make you look cool bud.
I wasn't reducing anything, again it was just a correction. What was that you said earlier about me grasping at straws again? You have absolutely no self awareness lol. I don't really give a forget what you and other troon ass kissers think about me. Cry more friend

stardew valley > animal crossing
both are excellent games. in fact I think new horizons took some cues from stardew with being able to place furniture outside. except in new horizons you can place furniture almost anywhere, but in stardew you can only place it on your lot (last time I played at least, that might have changed)

Yeah, well, I’m already gay, so your point is moot anyway. I’d still be shooting blanks.

Also just because evolution favors traits conducive to successfully passing one’s genes doesn’t rule out aberrations. I’m basically one of those dead end mutations that just sits around being useless; I’m not shamed of it.
you might be pleased to know homoloveuality can play a major role in kin selection and inclusive fitness, so you're not actually useless from an evolutionary perspective

"better traits" isn't as simple as physically strong > weak. our lineage saw the loss of raw muscle mass in favor of a larger cranium and greater brains. our defense against a bear is bear spray, guns, traps, etc. things we invented to compensate for our weak bodies.
