You should at least just get the ArmA II Demo and the DLC that is required. The models will be low quality and some things from the basic ArmA II will be missing, something like that. If you do like it - you could "upgrade" and buy the full ArmA II. At least this way if it turns out to not be your kind of thing, you wouldn't have spent too much money.

I've been looking for a really realistic survival game for months. If the replay value on this mod is high then I'd consider getting it.

Also, I assume it's still being developed? More features ect.? I feel like this could be worth my money. I play Arma II Free occasionally too so I know the basics of the game.

Of course it's still being developed. The guy that made the mod even got a job with the developers. I heard there was going to be a DayZ gamemode or something that would be part of ArmA III.

The patch notes say melee was added.

Must be pretty difficult trying to kill a zombie.

Tonight it's supposed to be around seventy-degrees with some six-mile-per-hour winds, so I might be able to host tonight without starting a fire.

Thing is, melee would be pretty difficult considering the clunky AI.

In the actual server, I was King of the Bill, and I don't think I was anywhere near that bad.

I was being sarcastic. You know that asking to put the server up is not going to accomplish anything, and I have stated that more than enough times. I didn't really host the server - like I said I always announce so in the topic so no one needs to continually ask when it's going up, or if it is up.

Oh. I can't recognize sarcasm online, sorry.

You should be capable of recognizing the context of something though.
I might host later tonight if I'm not doing anything. I can't host now because it's sweltering today, and I don't have my AC set up. My laptop is getting very hot, very fast.

The point I'm making here is that you need to realize someone will host when they can, and they always announce in the thread that they are putting it up/it is up.

Continuing to beg and plead for someone to put it up, makes me want to host less - so I don't have deal with you in the server; because I can only imagine how you'll be in the actual server, let alone this topic.

Downloaded the ArmA 2 Demo. Choppy framerate.
Feels bad, man.
The Days Ahead

Playlist of my favorite story to have come out of this game. I find it amazing how the guy recording isn't the perfect survivor, but everyone around him always dies, but he is the one to survive. Still waiting for the next part; there are huge gaps between each video.

11AM - 1PM
2PM - 4PM
5PM - 7PM

Just because one gets the highest votes doesn't mean that will be the hosted time. It will just be the most likely. Say 11AM - 1PM is chosen. I would host from 10AM to 2PM UTC/GMT to account for the other people.

So the base of the area is emitting an ambient light, while the actual light-posts emit the flare to top off the illusion?

And what do you mean by "not completely white, and not completely colord?" Are they just somewhere in between the actual color you want, and white?
