So you use custom lights? What's the difference from the default lights that makes them not look so bad? I know you're using custom flares, but I mean the actual lighting.

Or did you just edit the build and replace the larger plates and baseplates with 2x4s so the vertex lighting doesn't make everything look ugly?

I don't think a brick's visibility could be client-sided. They would have to affect only the client, because you have to factor in other people near the brick. What if one person is near it, so everyone else can see it? That's silly.

A very basic zombie mod with just Slow, Normal and Fast zombies where they either just wander around and attack nearby players - or always know where they are. Basically an AI that doesn't "think" too much so you can have a lot just like v8 Zombies.

Speaking of time zones.

I was thinking about how the first Bluzone had a password at all times, which was presented in the topic. So everyone who wished to join would read the topic, know what to do and how to act, then get into the server. There were significantly less idiots. But apparently, less people join when there is a password. The server only holds twelve people, and there are definitely more than twelve people that watch this topic. The problem is when people are on.

I was thinking we could have two sets of polls. The first one would provide voters the option of choosing how long they would like to see the server be opened. Not ridiculous intervals; reasonable ones.

The second poll would revolve around a general timezone, and more time intervals. People would compare the general timezone to their timezone, and determine when they are usually on - and ready to play the Bluzone. After collecting the data from both polls, we could combine them and come up with a definite time to put the server up, and time interval to keep it up so we get the most amount of people on at that time.

I think this is a way we could get the server to work while always keeping a password on it, and keeping that password in the OP. Obviously, we would have two passwords though - one for when the server is "closed" and one for when it is "open." An admin could change the server title accordingly so people know whether or not they are going to be entering the right password. I just want your opinions on this first.

This has nothing to do with restricting the server to people in a different timezones. It's just unfortunate.

Group A - Available at 2 - 3PM
Group B - Available at 4 - 5PM
Group C - Available at 6 - 7PM

Group B contains the most amount of people. The admins do their best to host around 3 - 6PM, giving everybody a chance to join. Though, there would be a lot more data and things to consider - this is just a small, simple example that I whipped up just now.

Done. Obviously there have been some changes to this idea though as we discussed a page or so back - so don't even bother complaining. I could not care less.

And if you're going to "help find a solution" stop thinking about yourself. The admins have things to do too, we can't always host when you guys want us to.

Can't admins in general handle the administration, banning, etc.?

There is a loving reason some people are only Admins, and others are Super Admins. Just drop it, someone will host when they can.

Yeah GMT/UTC is a universal time. That's why I chose that to be in the poll that Knaz needs to add.

How many admins do you have?

For christ-sakes.

There are five hosts that I have seen hosting. Me, Knaz, Electrk, Ceist and Kaphonatis. We have things to do too, we can't always host when you want to and Knaz isn't going to go making people Super Admin willy-nilly just so there are enough to have the server always up. It will be up when someone puts it up.

I used to host 5PM to 8PM EST when I had school, but now I host whenever. Someone else can host though, it's all I've gotten to do lately.

Christ Bill, I don't know how many times I have to explain this. Just imagine that the server is just like any other non-dedicated server.

Password = Server is closed, host is not on
No password = Servrer is open, host is on

Whereas the host is a Super Admin. Someone will host when they are ready to host. Stop badgering us, please. Thank you.

They also need to moderate the server, ban people etc.

5AM - 7AM
8AM - 10AM
11AM - 1PM
2PM - 4PM
5PM - 7PM

Just because one gets the highest votes doesn't mean that will be the hosted time. It will just be the most likely. Say 11AM - 1PM is chosen. I would host from 10AM to 2PM UTC/GMT to account for the other people.
