Off Topic / Re: Target Exchange Policy?
« on: March 29, 2012, 10:35:01 PM »
I returned a pair of pants that didnt fit and got a full refund, Im sure the same applies to games.

Ask Jimjam he works there.

Unless of course its a PC game in which case you cannot return it.

Quote from: Target's Site
The following items are non returnable if opened and may only be exchangeable: music, movies, video games and software.

Also, it's a PS3 game.

You can't exchange games if any seals are broken because they are unsure if any of the codes have been used, disk have been switched, or whatever. Just sell as new on eBay or craigslist. Reddit is also pretty great about game trades and most people trade at equal value. If all else fails, you could try trading it here.

Their site says you can exchange it, and the code must be scratched off. But I see what you're saying, I'll just sell it on eBay as new.

Off Topic / [UPDATE] Selling Uncharted 2 GOTY on Ebay
« on: March 29, 2012, 10:28:04 PM »
I recently went and bought a $30 game at Target. Being the massive friend I am, I want to return it because it's the Game of the Year version and the cover-art is different, I just want the normal version since it's cheaper too. Apparently you cannot return video games that have been opened. By opened, they mean just removing the plastic film that covers it. I have not used it, or used the DLC code that comes with it. Their site states I can exchange it though. Does anyone know if it's an even exchange, and that I'll just get a game equal to the price? I still have the receipt as well.

I loved the Ed Edd n Eddy movie. Sad that was basically the series finale though.

Bump.

3575
I just though.... What if this is all an Aprill Fools prank komp and Bady are doing, and it was all done in Blender!?

THAT WOULD BE HORRIBLE.

But it isn't.

3576
He never even directly stated he didn't do it, if you ignore the one where he posed it as a question.

Yes, but I see it more as a confused statement.

3577
You're dumb.

Rule 7. Really uncalled for.

3578
Dammit, MrLol. What were you thinking?

..what?
I didn't do this?

I also don't like how he tried to lie his way out of this.

Has the jury reached a verdict?

The screen though is 22". Would it even be noticeable? I can't find the native resolution, the manual only states it supports up to 1080p.

Also, does anyone know if the PS3 has a "Blue Filter" mode when playing DVDs? This option is available on some HDTVs (not mine though), and adds a blue filter over the screen making it easier to adjust the color and tint settings when calibrating your HDTV.

In the video the end of 54 is so fast, but the GIF seems like it's slowed down.

Oh god, I can't describe how scary that is.

Alright, I should mention I have this triple component cable. It has a plug for an Xbox 360, Wii, and PS2/PS3. I have already calibrated my HDTV on my Xbox 360 using Windows Media Center and calibrating videos. Now that I have a PS3 and the videos/games are being displayed with a different console, should I need to re-calibrate my HDTV?

Also, my HDTV is 22" but supports up to 1080p. Should I enabled everything up to 1080p, or just keep it at up to 720p?

could this actually have been the cause of his cancer?

People can't cure cancer, but they can tell you what causes it? Screw them. Almost everything causes cancer nowadays.
