Help / Failed to verify BLID when joining servers.

I am posting this for another blocklander, so here I go. My friend has satellite internet and lives near some mountains. She just upgraded her internet to a better service but it's still satellite internet. With her new service, she is getting better download and upload speeds but her ping is only slightly better. Under her current service, she gets 680 ms ping with 41 ms jitter. She can authenticate fine with the master server, so that isn't a problem but everytime she tries to join a server, she is automatically kicked out with the error of, "Failed to verify BLID". Is there any way to fix this problem even with the ping she is getting? As I said before, she just upgraded to another better service but she lives so far out there that she doesn't get good ground wiring, so satellite internet is the best she can get. Any replies would be great, thanks!

So I was knifing casually on a Grapple Knife TDM server when we start talking about RTB being down. Out of nowhere, Unknown Lolzar says he knows who the DDoSer is but won't go into full details. Here are the screenshots of the chat.























If Unknown Lolzar is telling the truth, then he is as bad as Yola. Telling about what is going on but withholding details. Discuss guys.

General Discussion / Is the master server down again?

Sorry that I am posting a new thread about this but the other topic got locked, so I am posting a new one. The whole Blockland master server seems to be down, anyone else having this problem?

Edit: Just my luck, as soon as I posted this topic, the other one got unlocked. :/

Off Topic / A new animated Star Wars TV show has been announced.

Disney is calling it, Star Wars Rebels. It takes place after episode 3 but before episode 4. It's coming out in fall 2014. Here is the link to the teaser trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1_F7zg4B30

My thoughts on this: From what the teaser trailer gave us, it looks really kiddy, and the animation doesn't look that good. But this is just a teaser trailer, so I can't really judge it that much. We will have to wait until we can get more details about this new show. Though my gut is telling me that this show probably won't be any good.

About E3:
E3 stands for Electronic Entertainment Expo, which takes place every year in June for 3 days (4 days if you count the press conferences that takes place before it officially starts), to show off the computer and video games industry's latest games and hardware. E3 is one big convention taking place in the Los Angeles Convention Center at Los Angeles, United States. E3 2013 will start on June 11 but most of the press conferences will take place before the show floor opens. E3 2013 ends at June 13. Drama / Armageddon (BLID 118) and his friend Drunk Driver (BLID 4172) - Badmins

Before I begin to say what happend, I would like to say a few things first. Armageddon and I have been SA at Cat123's knifing server for a long time. Armageddon was made as a SA by Lalam while I was selected as SA by Cat123 even before Armageddon got his SA. Drunk Driver was never a SA at Cat123's server before until Arma made him SA today to wreck havoc with him. Now I'll start telling the story of what Armageddon and Drunk Driver did at Cat123's server.

I was casually playing at Cat123's server. Everything was working fine and people were having fun. Armageddon and Drunk Driver then join the server with SA. Now like I already said before, Armageddon had SA for a while now but Drunk Driver wasn't a SA at Cat's server before today. A few minutes after they have joined, I lose connection to the server with the reason of "BUTT". I join back to the server and ask what happend. I look at the player list and see that my SA is gone. I ask why my SA is gone and a few seconds later, Drunk Driver perma bans Broken for the reason of "i'm gay for cat123". Right after that, I get perma banned by Armageddon for the reason of "butt". After I have left the server from being banned, Drunk Driver clears all of the bricks. Armageddon and Drunk Driver then perma bans pretty much everyone who was on the server at the time. They then terminate the server using the crash function by using eval. Shortly after all that, Armageddon starts spamming a bit on RTB.

Pretty much Armageddon and Drunk Driver are badmins and idiots in general. They are not to be trusted. Click the pictures below for image evidence of the things I just said.

Off Topic / A TV revolution needs to happen.

I've been noticing that more and more people nowadays are switching from TV to the internet to watch their latest TV shows. More people are watching their latest episodes from iTunes, Hulu, or other internet websites and less people are watching the TV shows live anymore. TV producers are still looking at the TV ratings as a guide to see if they should cancel their show or renew it for another season. That used to work back when the internet wasn't giving you your favorite TV shows when ever and where ever you want. TV producers need to wake up and realize that the way we watch TV shows are changing. They need to take into account on how many people are buying their episodes on video on demand services like iTunes and how many people are watching their episodes on websites like Hulu. Too many TV show companies are living in the past, a TV revolution needs to happen. Who is with me?

Recently I found a website (http://www.virtualapple.org/) where you can play "Almost every Apple ][ and Apple IIgs game ever made, ready to play in your browser.", pretty much it's a browser based plugin that emulates old Apple Disks games. Since there is a whole bunch of games you can play, does anyone know of some good ones? A big thank you to everyone who replies with a useful post. :)
