If you are playing with the PC, open the console and type coc testqaitems
Then go to the mailboxes and get everything.
Type coc megatoncommonhouse
into the console to go back, then deposit everything in a mailbox or something (Out of Megaton)

I'd say you're using a PC to play so, here's what you do.
1. When you see him coming towards you, open the console.
2. Click on him then type

Code: [Select]

kill

and press enter
3. Exit the console.
You'll never be able to do the quest though if you do this btw, but you don't really get much anyway, so meh.

You're trying to do the quest "Those!" and the game crashes when you are done talking to the kid? How many times have you tried going back and doing this?
