The person telling them to do it. loving Christ it's not even a contest.
I disagree. If you tell someone to go jump off a cliff and they do it, it's still their fault for jumping, because they chose to do it. Even if 50 other people told them to go jump off a cliff, at the end of the day the decision was still theirs to make.

on god bro I forgot I already used that metaphor here
anyway stfu. grow a brain. they are intentionally harassing people with the express goal of them killing themselves.
Unfortunately in my lifetime I've had to deal with the loss of a few friends who took their own life. Separate individuals with no relation to each other and at different times in my life - but let me tell you none of them let anyone know they were going to do it because people who are serious about that sort of stuff normally do it in secret, it's a conscious decision that doesn't require validation from anyone else. I've already agreed with you that private investigating people is a terrible thing to do, but ultimately the decision to murder oneself is a decision made alone.

if that's not enough for you then how about bomb threats?

If someone tells another person to do something stupid, who is guilty? The one who told them to do it, or the person who decided to carry out the deed? Furthermore, that 'bomb threat' post honestly seems more like a joke than anything, but just in case it were a real threat do you think censoring the website where such a post was made would benefit the situation? My entire point here is that Cloudflare is abusing their power by censoring traffic of actual users to whatever websites they consider "dangerous" instead of doing the job people are paying it to do for their personal web server, which is provide protection against hackers and bots.

Just rang up a couple of lads down in Belfast and asked them to plant bombs in all of those places. Also, 3 armed men will be at each place, waiting.

lol'd. by the time my brain is done growing crook will be locked up in area 51 getting experimented on by government trolls. don't let em get ya crook!

they are actively, deliberately, causing material harm to other people. it's a gun shop selling body armor to an active shooter

imagine someone saying this about a gun store that sold body armor to someone who was openly planning a school shooting
why do you keep referring to body armor and active shooter like lol dude that has to be the most extreme and outlandish comparison. it doesn't even fit. u take something like hurting someones feelings over an internet forum to the absolute extreme and comparing it to "an active school shooting" holy stuff lmfao. To be fair, I'm not advocating for kiwi farms in any way, private investigating people is a certainly a terrible thing to do, all I'm saying is that if there is

an unprecedented emergency and immediate threat to human life unlike we have previously seen from Kiwifarms
it sounds like something law enforcement should be dealing with if this is the actual case. Cloudflare is a paid service that is used to protect your website/server from hackers and bots, they shouldn't be blocking traffic to websites they deem "unsafe" just because they personally feel that way

They've gotten in talks with law enforcement as stated at later points in the blog post, but it's a slow going process
usually an "emergency and immediate threat to human life" is dealt with rather quickly by law enforcement so lets hope the process is swift if what cloudflare is claiming holds true

we believe there is an unprecedented emergency and immediate threat to human life unlike we have previously seen from Kiwifarms

sounds like a job for law enforcement, not the job of a DDoS protection service

Something that always kind of bugged me about steering animations with all vehicles both old and new is the linearity. The steering animation slows down near the center and speeds up near the ends. Physical steering/handling is 1:1 linear, but since I often drive in first person, the non-linear steering wheel animations always throw me off.

Is this something that has to be fixed per vehicle?

it's something that applies to every single Blockland vehicle with a steering wheel, including Speedkarts. Which makes me believe it's something done on a global scale all across the game. Which makes me wonder if there's a workaround that way, changing something in the data of the game itself.
It's because of strafe steering. There are 2 main fields in the vehicle data that effect the way it works:

Code: (speedKart.cs) [Select]
maxSteeringAngle = 0.6;
steeringStrafeSteeringRate = 0.08;

maxSteeringAngle should match animation but it doesn't have to - this determines how far the steering wheel and tires turn. The steering wheel will stop turning once it has reached the end of it's animation but the tires will continue to turn if you set the value really high. If you set the value lower, the steering wheel and tires will properly stop it's animation based on this value.

steeringStrafeSteeringRate is what you are looking for, it controls the speed at which the steering wheel and tires turn. Raising the steeringStrafeSteeringRate will make the steering wheel turn faster, but it will also make the tires turn faster. This becomes a problem when you want the steering wheel to turn slower than the tires, or vise versa

edit: best value seems to be anything between 0.1 and 0.2. anything less and you get the strange steering "slow down" effect, anything more plays the animation and turns the tires too fast

good stuff. new bl series "the render rooms" starts you out in the far lands surrounded by piss stained bricks in a what appears to be subliminal space and you have to make your way by foot to the actual player world spawn while everything looks practically the same with no sense of time or direction. gl

i literally cannot ignore it i would need to drop literally all of my projects as of right now in order to do dat
If you have a lot of time invested into your own discord server or others I can understand the hesitation to move to a new platform, but if you really hate discord so much may I remind you that it is a program that can be literally uninstalled from your device and never used again? It's also a website you never have to browse unless you choose to do so. I'm not denying that discord has it's issues I'm just wondering why if you dislike it so much, why even use it? My apologies if I'm sounding like an ass, just trying to make sense of it is all

discord kinda sucks because of the interface but once you get used to it it's extremely helpful for screen sharing or communicating with friends, way better than skype or tinychat and that stuff we had back in the day. It could definitely use some improvements and their "free nitro" scam they try to pull every few months can get annoying so just ignore it if you don't deem it useful
