It's one thing to remove the dislike button counter - it's their platform they can modify the software like that if they want, but to lie about the reason? It just makes them look even more sinister. Everyone knows damn good and well it's not to protect "smaller content creators" if that was really the case they would have done this a long time ago. The real reason they've decided to do this is because of all the dislikes on the whitehouse page, corporate news pages, and anything vaccine related. People are fed up with the crap and do not like it hence the using of the dislike button. Just more censorship from YT, whats new.....

youtube has stated its to help protect smaller creators. i believe them.

lol. exactly.

Off Topic / Re: why do people not want masks?
« on: October 22, 2021, 06:21:30 PM »
I don't think masks are bad but I do think forcing people to wear them goes against human rights. If someone wants to wear a mask for their own protection that's fine, but they shouldn't shame someone else for their decision not to (happens all too often) just like the person not wearing the mask shouldn't shame the ones who decide to wear one.

wearing a mask in the winter is a good idea to keep you from inhaling so much cold air and getting sick, and yeah it does hide you from facial recognition technology too so it has it's benefits.

now on the contrary I've seen people literally jogging in 90 degree heat back in the summer with a mask on, or driving alone in their car with it on. to me it seems a little odd but hey it's just a clothing preference

Also who would vote thanksgiving.
guilty. i voted thanksgiving because it's a time to be thankful for what you have, even if it doesn't seem like much, and for people to put their differences aside and just enjoy good food together. I would have voted 4th of July but that wasn't on the list :O

as a kid, christmas just brought disappointment as I'm sure it did to many kids who didn't have high-income parents - but as an adult though the joy of giving another person a gift just to see their reaction is quite nice. i guess you could say that I finally understand the saying "it's the thought that counts" that you hated hearing adults say when you got a seemingly crummy gift as a kid. also I've grown to enjoy many of those christmas classics I watched growing up.

halloween was always my favorite holiday back then tho because my friends and I got to dress up and run around the neighborhood sifting the streets for candy lol. sometimes we'd even visit the same house twice if we knew who lived there and wanted to mess with em see if we could get some extra candy. then afterwards you get to trade and profit some twizzlers or dots by bartering some sucker friend with a pack of milkduds >:D

you know garry's mod by default has practically nothing, it's very bare bones. thats how blockland by default is. The mods practically make the game and thats one of the things so great is the moddability of these types of games. sure, blockland isn't as popular as it once was mainly due to a series of unfortunate events through the years such as RTB going down, a major key-leak, and practically non-existent advertisement.

you've been playing for 15 years and 6/10 is what you give blockland? why the hell did you play a game that rates a 6/10 for 15 forgetin years bro? lol. do not let your disappointment in where the game has gone after 15 years be the final judge on all the great times you had on blockland. sometimes good games die off man thats just what happens. there are plenty of games that didn't even make it this far, maybe you should cut blockland a little slack?

That being said, I honestly believe if blockland had some decent advertising and a new forum (archive the old ones), the game could attract some new players. There is still plenty of community created content including a bunch of hats, vehicles, weapons, etc.

most people take their everyday freedoms for granted and won't come to realize what they have lost until it's too late

as for sources I'm not sure what Tony read but here are some I found:

https://mustreadalaska.com/biden-administration-places-harmful-language-warning-on-u-s-constitution-at-national-archives-catalog/

https://www.independent.org/news/article.asp?id=13760

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/national-archives-us-constitution/

then that's your problem

no, its yours.

idk if ceist is trolling but tony is right, a quick google search is all it took to find some valuable sources. not sure why he chose to post none in the op tho

the building, the eventing, and the mods. there are so many neat things you can do in blockland it's a wonderfully creative sandbox game
