The way you said it you basically compared it to paint, which is bad, while paint.net is not.

You cannot do that. The information on the key.dat is made to be unique for the computer it is on, moving the key.dat file to a new computer will not help.

Its kinda sad to see you actually tried to detail something in Paint like that. Its not bad for a paint job, but if you want people to take you seriously your gonna need a better editing program than Paint or Paint.net.

That's irrelevant to my problem, is there anyone that is completely awesome and knows everything, like how to open a .dat file? I have cookies....

You dont need to open it.
Go into the Blockland folder on your old computer and transfer the key.dat file from there
to a flash drive or upload it to a website for personal download. Transfer that key.dat to the
new computer and put it in the new blockland folder.
