taco pizza is another good one. beef, refried beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato (or salsa), and crunched up taco shells (I prefer to use fritos or doritos though)

also, does veggie pizza count?

i guess due to acab, police activity is technically political, but honestly i dont see how its political in this case.

also regarding free speech, there are technically limits on what you can put on signs due to defamation laws, but that obviously goes nowhere near that.
as I said it's really not too political. I figured I'd post it here instead of making a new thread since it's loosely based. Moreover it's just so ridiculous and actually kinda funny since the karens were told off by the operators that people have rights. mad respect!

and yeah exactly, this isn't anywhere near that of course. as far as defamation laws go, in order to prove defamation it must be a published work - in the case of libel (which would lean more towards this scenario) only if such a sign was directly causing real harm or danger could it be considered actual malice

they make this really great bbq pizza around here (it's just bbq sauce instead of pizza sauce) but as for toppings:

pepperoni
ham
beef
bacon
onion
banana peppers
extra cheese
black olives

sometimes I'll get green peppers or jalapeños on half

the one thing I hate on pizza is ground sausage/chunks, unless it's breakfast pizza (peppered gravy for the sauce makes all the difference) but if I'm doing breakfast pizza it's only got bacon, sausage, and cheese. nothing else

I guess it's really not, at least directly. However, one could argue that it's political in the sense that the 911 operators were actually respectful and intelligent instead of sending cops to deal with the amended right of free speech. Kudos to the 911 operators on this one, seriously.

I imagine if a cop were to get involved/the operator actually sends a cop to deal with it - things would have the potential to get ugly because that's escalating the situation. Of course, that still depends on who the cop is that shows up, and how the interaction between them goes. The good thing is that the entire situation is easily avoidable when you have competent people in the workforce like in this case.

Just think, all it would have taken is for one of those operators to have been in the mindset of one of those karens who called 911 for this entire thing to have gone differently (most likely for the worse)

People are literally using an EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBER to report A SIGN THEY DISLIKE. In AMERICA you are ALLOWED to have a sign saying WHATEVER THE forget YOU WANT, as long as you are not trespassing private property! It's just beyond absurd!!

lol, karens calling the cops over bag of richards sign

One of the bigger problems is that Blockland has no player retention, and that's partially due to the fact that the game has no easy access to custom content

New players essentially have to be told where they can get add-ons, and be told what the "must have" add-ons are that makes it easier and more fun to build and play
I sort of get that in a way, but it's not hard to do a google search "Blockland Add-ons" and find the forum directory or other places with add-ons or guides talking about add-ons and what they do/how to install them. All it takes is a little bit of reading and some very novice computer knowledge to download and install them.

Also, with a mod such as Blockland Glass, they can download add-ons from in-game so all they need is that one add-on to start with - I don't see how it's that complicated really - extremely easy compared to installing mods for other more popular/heavily advertised games

I never really understood why people dislike Badspot so much, he is actually a pretty nice guy in general. As long as you don't say something or do something completely stupid to piss him off/get on his bad side.

For instance, nagging him about updates, or saying how maps were so much better and we need them back, cussing him out or just being an ass about the game basically. If you don't like Blockland for what it is, the simple solution is don't play.

Now, that being said I'm sure there are many people including myself who would love to see Blockland return to it's former glory - this is seemingly wishful thinking. The game is practically in the hands of modders to make new things and create different server experiences now. It surely wouldn't hurt if we had an update here and there to fix things (which seems to be the case) but possibly a little more active development on his end would be nice. However, as the ol' saying goes "don't bite the hand that feeds you" has happened many times throughout the history of this game - it's really no surprise that he doesn't want to do anything else with it. I for one, am thankful he helped active users such as myself get their accounts back after the key loss and that we can still play Blockland at all.

If people want Blockland to become popular again what it really needs is some solid advertisement

Add-Ons / Re: Hata's Add-On Dump & Modifications
« on: January 21, 2021, 11:11:49 PM »
I really love the physics death, I use it for certain servers/gamemodes. I like it better than SMM bodies physics because corpses interact with water. I mainly used it for my endless zombies map and custom class TDM. I also modified it so that corpses make a splash. For this effect see below

Code: [Select]
datablock WheeledVehicleData(PhysicsDeathVehicle){
    originalcode;

};

So to say that these are "Hata's add-ons", isn't entirely true, and kind of loosely phrased for add-ons where he just tacked on some additional code...
would probably be more appropriate to call it "Hata's BL Folder"

what the workforce really do to a brother...

wow our results are close! and yeah
These tests are dumb as stuff if anyone saw the answers I gave they would not think I am left but it asks stuff like "Should megacorporations be allowed to eat babies?" and if you answer no it destroys your result
ikr. it's like "No one chooses their country of birth, so it’s foolish to be proud of it" okay lmao... while it may be true that you don't get to choose your country of birth (because you're an INFANT) the second part "so it's foolish to be proud of it" uhhh...what? You can be proud of the country you were born in, usually most people are proud of their homeland thats just a given. Or, maybe you do hate the country you were born in, but I think that all depends on how good or bad the country/government has been during your lifetime, doesn't it?

me personally im glad i was born in the united states. it's not amazing by any means but definitely a ways above terrible. maybe being born in a different country might have been better, I don't know that for sure - but it most certainly could always be worse. I'm thankful for what I have, but I do have to say the U.S has been on a bumpy road for quite sometime, and the sad truth is that it's probably going to get worse before it gets better.

America's left-right all-or-nothing politics is what's causing the issue, not democrats or republicans.

So if I lived in the US I'm loving myself over either way by voting democrat OR republican. You need more parties in the government so I can actually vote on a party that is AGAINST immigration and FOR medicare. This also makes it way too easy to set up people against eachother in an us-vs-them kind of way, where if you're not a republican, you are by definition a democrat (unless you're the 2% third party voter lmao). This also makes it so that if a party puts up an absolutely handicapped richardhead as their electable president, you are likely to vote for them anyways since 'you are a republican/democrat' and are voting for your party regardless. I can just vote for another party with similar political views but a more sensible candidate up for election instead.
so much this, I totally agree with you.
