Dr. Oz is now urging parents to vaccinate their kids against Measles as the US is on the verge of losing it's status of the disease being eradicated here.

He's a liar and a hypocrite, see 4:57 on this video

okay cool, glad u got it 'sorted out' (pun intended) hopefully what I posted was at least somewhat helpful lol

paint.net

paint.net is awesome btw, been using it for over a decade - by far my favorite image editing program. the best part about it is u can make your own plugins for effects or install a plethora of community based addons

I highly recommend boltbait plugin pack if you don't already have it: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/113220-boltbaits-plugin-pack-for-pdn-v4212-and-beyond-updated-july-16-2020/

I think what your looking for is to sort the files based on date last modified or date acquired (not sure how this differs from date received lol). there are a lot of options, but unzipping contents can be odd because there is no telling when exactly those contents were zipped initally. typically with compressed files what I do is make an empty folder on the desktop, drag and drop the zip/rar/whatever into there and then use 7zip to 'extract here' option

maybe try experimenting with the date sorting options and see what works for you

these are the options I use

I second this actually. Sometimes I don't update my add-ons for months or even years, and would like to update the topic. I can understand the too old limit on some forums like drama or off-topic but otherwise I think it should be removed or at the very least extended to like 1 year lol

yeah i am talking about stuff like google stadia, where just your inputs get sent to a server where the game is being executed and rendered, and then the video output is sent back to your machine. and i'm pretty sure that's what dr block was referring to
right it was just a sort of miscommunication/misunderstanding on my part when ya mentioned 'game streaming' but now I understand what yall meant. cloud gaming is the more appropriate term; even so I think stuff like that (stadia and geforce now, etc) are absolute scams and the reasoning behind "if buying isn't owning then piracy isn't theft"

I guess we sorta de-railed the topic talking about modern day stuff gaming in a politics thread, but I did find it funny when Ladios said Epstein is to blame for micro-transactions in video games lol

66
game streaming has inherent latency which is annoying, also with game streaming the concept of "owning" a game will probably disappear, you will just be renting it from the cloud or owning a license or whatever

we have different interpretations of game streaming. what I'm talking about is as simple as sharing your screen via discord. there is latency, sure, but it's very minimal if you have a good connection. my friends and I share our game streams all the time with practically no latency whatsoever...maybe 10-20 ms??

renting games from the cloud is a different story, which I disagree with and think is scummy. goes back into the whole subscription based nonsense I was complaining about before

67
At least game streaming is probably not going to survive as a concept
there is nothing wrong with game streaming, and how do you figure it won't survive as a concept? people can video share literally any game they are playing lol

the real problems with modern gaming are microtransactions, loot boxes, gacha bullstuff, and subscription based 'membership' garbage. also you got games out here that have been in 'early access' for 5+ years which is handicapped as forget

games being removed from the 'market place' like steam or epic games etc is also dumb, but at least there are ways to acquire the game by other means in that scenario (usually) but it's definitely more of a problem for online games or MMO's where the servers get shut down

69
Yeah, but back when he sent the email DLC was the standard on consoles and pc, microtransactions were only in their infancy on mobile.

that's not actually true though. habbo hotel and maple story come to mind. there were others as well before that, but these are 2 distinct games I remember from my childhood that were riddled with micro transactions. you could actually buy furniture in habbo hotel through the phone and they would charge it to your lan line. my dad was pissed when he found out my brother and I bought like 100 bucks worth of virtual furniture and it appeared on the phone bill. he called the company up and bitched them out lol. he got the money refunded but our accounts got perma banned

In the modern day damn near every game is filled with microtransactions. Activision-Blizzard had been one of the worst second only to EA in that regard.
this part is true though sadly, and reminds me of a video "Elden Ring - by EA Games"

now who do we get to blame for all the subscription based bullstuff services they are pumping out these days, because that just as if not more of a problem than micro transactions

70
there were plenty of games with micro transactions before call of duty tho lol

Guess that whole second amendment thing is bullstuff when we can be killed for owning a firearm while it is in someone else's hands and we never reached for it.
that was the mistake - when targeted by a violent gang you should probably fight back if you have the option, or flee; otherwise they will most certainly kill you

snowstorm = just an average saturday over here

also it's -7F here with -20-40 windchills

you guys are flaunting rookie numbers
hey to be fair u just got over that way lol. deal with it for another decade or so and you'll probably be tired of it too

i insert a missed alarm

the machine eats the missed alarm slowly, and then you hear a *CRUNCH* at the very last bite, and then nothing....

until suddenly, the machine starts making a sound that starts slow and goes faster and faster

*TICK....TICK...TICK..TICK..TICK TICKTICKTICKTICK*

The vending machine has effectively inverted time itself and now everything coming out of the machine is spitting out either backwards or upside down

*CLUNK*

*maxymax13 obtains a bag of plain potato chips, ingredients label side up*

*Goth77 inserts a piece of corn from Conan's farm*

Because worshiping a politician is loving weird.
no stuff? it's just that you're literally criticizing someone for going to a better climate during a storm which is lmao

You would be the expert on that, huh?
