Maps / BuildLand 4 V2

BuildLand 4
One of the classic BuildLand maps with a bit more added

Description
Well, it's mostly desert with a bit of variation.
There's more to the map than what's in the screenshot, just check it out.

Some Features:

-The area featured in the picture is surrounded by a ravine, and everything outside the ravine is hilly desert with some more mountains in the distance

-There are paths that you can follow, and two spots where the path hits the ravine (so you can make bridges connecting to the area featured in the picture)

-There are plenty of flat places for building

-There is also a lake

The terrain textures, water texture, and skybox were found scattered about my computer. Credit goes to their creators respectively.

General Discussion / Recovering the USS Bafflestuff
« on: January 31, 2009, 11:45:14 PM »
So recently I decided that I wanted to continue building my battleship that I started back, but I discovered that I lost the save due to me restoring my computer a while back :(

If whoever reads this could check to see if they happened to pick up a save of it, I would greatly appreciate it.
These are the only two pictures that I have of it (Apparently I had uploaded them to photobucket a while back):

Most recent picture (Smokestacks and half the railing)

Older picture, but a fuller view

Ace had a save of it without anything on deck, but if anyone has a save of it at all (preferably in the smokestack stage of my progress on it) , please post.

I just want my bafflestuff back :[

An amusing video made with GMod that I stumbled upon; it's basically a magic show where everything possible goes wrong.

Games / AC:CF 580 Bells Per Turnip tomorrow
« on: January 04, 2009, 08:13:48 PM »
Tom Nook is buying turnips for 580 bells per turnip in my town.

The max amount of turnips you can carry at one time is 1500, so you could make 870k a trip if you sell a full inventory.

I am willing to let 3 people have as many runs they want for 99k per trip (per person).

PM me or post here w/ buddy info if you're interested.

(This offer ends soon)

This post will change if any spots are open.

3 spots open

Disclaimer: Just because you PM me before someone else doesn't mean you will necessarily be chosen to go before them. It's my decision, so don't give me stuff if I don't let you come to my town right away, or at all.

CLOSED FOR THE NIGHT

WILL BE SELLING FOR 580 EACH AGAIN TOMORROW
 COURTESY OF TT

Games / crab in the uncap!
« on: October 13, 2008, 06:31:23 PM »
I was playing BF2 today, (name is Crabble), and found a decent looking server on the Road To Jalalabad map (Inf Only)

The server information said not to go into the US uncap base if they didn't have another claimed spawn point.
About halfway through the round, the US only had the Uncap, so naturally, I went in it  >:D

Luckily I was using the DAO-12, and ended up getting a killing spree of 30-something kills without dieing before the US commander started typing, "crab in the uncap! crab in the uncap!" so I started walking backwards towards my squad, and I got kicked :D

I highly recommend the DAO-12 as an unlock option, it actually does a decent amount of damage at long-range if you unload a couple of rounds, too.

Here's a pic from right before I got kicked:

The L96A1 is still my favorite gun, though :3
Quote from: BF2S Wiki
The L96A1 is apt to become the most beloved sniper rifle in the assortment. While EA/DICE tries to sell their expansions as balanced with the original game, this gun is clearly a cut above the rest. Take together the best of the M24 and M95 and you’ll end up with the L96A1. It has the same firepower as the M24 and M95, these rifles will reduce the health with 95% of a full health soldier in a single shot. On top of that, the L96A1 is together with the M24 the most accurate weapon in the game. But it overpowers the M24 because of its load time which is equal to the M95.

Man, I love this game
