One thing that often bugs me is that people tend to use points of interest that don't really matter when it comes to trying to explain why thousands of people watch a cartoon.Keep in mind this was started by /co/
The reason of "great animation" is a good example. When you watch cartoons on TV, you're not going to even think about the quality of its animation unless it is utterly terrible.
Unless you enjoy criticizing the work of TV animators, or judging them for an award, you're not going to bat an eye over the animation.
Another is using the various crew members who worked on many other cartoons in the past as another reason. Just because a few guys from various classic Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network cartoons worked on this show, it doesn't mean it is should be the next big thing.
Don't get me wrong, the talented folks deserve their credit and whatnot, but their involvement isn't going to sway someone into watching a cartoon unless they are fans of said crew members work.
