that whole post seems to suggest that events are so useless that they can't even be used in conjunction with logic bricks. probably not what you're going for, though, so anyways;
I can't explain in technical details why because of my lack of English, but trust me, the events system is just too... limited.
honestly, an explanation isn't needed. the efficiency of events in blockland are so mindblowingly low compared to the efficiency of real-world, modern day computers, and anyone who has attempted to make a computer in BL knows pretty well how difficult it truly is. so i do agree.
however, by saying "events system" you seem to be directly addressing the entire eventing system, which is entirely modifiable and still an essential part of any complex "computer" created in blockland.
i don't disagree that logic bricks are useful, though i personally have still been trying to get a grasp on them; my only complaint is about how much your post puts down events. you seem to be suggesting that the less amount of events used, the more like a real computer it would be, and that doesn't seem right.
