and i do agree with religious folk about the sanctity of "marriage"
because marriage is literally a religious thing. its a ritual before god to own a woman. its been that way for thousands of years.
gay people want the same rights, but they dont have to be "married" to have it.


i think everyone seems to forget what they are fighting for.

Marriage or an equivalent to marriage like you said would be nice.

I never said I was trying to prove you wrong? Just fixing your statement. I don't fight against discrimination, I just want to at least be able to marry the person I love. So yeah maybe I am trying to prove you wrong.

gay people are the new feminists.
they are surely getting all the rights they want, and someday soon it would be across the entire US and other first world countries;

yet when that day comes, they still will not stfu about it and play the victim forever.

because once you are equal to everyone, you are no longer special. and thats all minority groups even have/had.

No amount of rights will ever stop discrimination. Gay people, black people, women, all kinds of different groups are still and most likely always will be discriminated against. It's just an ongoing fight to stop it that will never end. That's why we'll "not stfu about it and play the victim forever". The media also encourages it, especially with racism.

you could apply that stupid "lol just ignore them" thing to then any form of rule breaking, but you're not supposed to have to deal with them in the first place

Well I said myself that it's hard for me to control "not posting in the first place". Maybe you would've caught that if you read my post more carefully. Also Aripany isn't breaking any rules, he's just being an starfish. "Not having to deal with them in the first place" just doesn't work in this situation. There will always be starfishs in the world, and I posted a very good way to avoid them.

Seriously, it doesn't take a lot to ignore people. And if you're like me and still don't just ignore people who frustrate you, you can at least know when to just step back and stop. Had nobody even responded to Aripany or continued the argument there wouldn't have been two pages of crap.

But now it sure looks like Aripany won this one because you guys are still flipping stuff while he hasn't even thrown out a single insult other than calling people that he doesn't even know pussies.
