I hope this is satire.

It's scary considering you yourself live in France, MrLol.  Stay safe.

Yes we know they're both morons. You don't need to overcomplicate an inane argument come to that conclusion.

You're right, nevermind.

you just spent like 5 paragraphs deciding whether or not a guy was reasonable in his accusation based on his bl_id and stating that you would be a much more reasonable individual if you were hypothetically in the same situation and that he should be ashamed

'experienced observer' my ass
Rambling nonsense and an experienced observation are different things.

I understand that my post is hard to digest.  I will split it up into simpler points:

1.  Swoppy's older BL_ID suggests that he has been on long enough to have negative experience with Damp.

2.  I myself remember Damp being banned (in-game) multiple times in the past, so Swoppy is mostly justified.

3.  Damp never took the initiative to settle the issue there and then, instead throwing back an insult (possibly more, because Swoppy seemed to be responding to things like 'I don't even remember who you are' that may have been deliberately cut out from the drama, which Foxscotch touches on) indicating that there is more to it than a simple unprovoked attack.

4.  From the points extracted above, I believe that I recognise Damp's behaviour in other individuals, and that he carries the same traits: Self-defence, maniplulating/only including some of the truth in order to appear justified.

5.  From experience as an administrator, I have settled arguments far worse than this with positive results, and that my first inclination is never to ban or drama someone.  Damp should have told Swoppy that he was sorry for whatever he had done, as he recognises that he was problematic in the past but that he isn't quite able to remember what had happened.  The whole thing could have been stopped there and then, but no; He was defensive, he didn't want to appear in the wrong in any way shape or form, so he made deflecting responses, which he excluded from the drama.

Summary:  Damp is only justified to the degree that he was suddenly accused, seemingly out of nowhere, whereas Swoppy believes that he has been wronged and felt inclined to lash out.  When Damp goes to make the drama, he leaves out important bits of information regarding his side of the argument in order to direct the attention towards Swoppy and away from himself, because he doesn't want to appear in the wrong.

The information is there for you to read, those are the facts.  I'm not going to spiral into an argument.

His 22K BL_ID indicates that his sudden accusation, though poorly constructed and thus easy to ridicule, may not entirely be unjustified.

I vaguely remember seeing you banned from a couple of servers a long time ago, so it's not really too outlandish of him to come out with that, despite being improper of him to do so.

I noticed that you never took the initiative yourself to ask him why he came out with what he said in order to settle the grudge once and for all, instead returning an insult, indicating that there is clearly more to it regardless of the possible semantics that we could get into to try and explain why you never settled it.

I've seen your sort of behaviour with different people many times before: plenty of excuses on hand, a generic reply, or no response at all in order to protect themselves, instead twisting what you say afterwards into something that simply isn't true.

Instead of making this drama thread, you should have kept silent. I always try to reason with people in order to get to the bottom of the real problem before even considering banning them, and I'm usually able to settle the issue before reaching a drama-level ban, whereas this is something you should be able to brush off if it really was uncalled for.

Perhaps I'm reading between the lines too much.  Nevertheless, this is simply an experienced observation.

Well, it's just from what I've observed.  I keep seeing people on the train stuck in their phones doing whatever and almost bumping into things instead of waiting to do it at home.  I doubt this new Pokemon game will help, but that's just my opinion.  If you've set time aside to go outside and play the game then I suppose that's OK.

also it's not even that good. you literally run around collecting pokemon which i guess is fun. but since you can only battle at gyms which are usually occupied by high level pokemon and you can't even do that until level 5 it's kinda dumb. so you wont be able to do a single battle for at least a few hours. and every pokemon, no matter how difficult or rare it is, is insta-caught through a crappy minigame where they jitter around your screen and you throw curveballs at them

People love to confuse reality with simulation, or at least merge the two when they should be separate.  Gone are the days when everything was done at the proper time, in the proper place.
