I mean, it's not bad, but (I think) it'll be quite complicated.I actually can fix those pretty easily. I just need to get around to working on this again. An update may happen within a week.

« on: June 09, 2015, 04:34:38 AM »The leading map was desert, dafuq happened?!?!We lost a few months worth of score data, and about a month's worth of achievement/title data. We're running a triple points month to help people quickly regain what they lost in the process.
And when I joined the loving map my title got changed, I thought it was all good till I saw this:
My score was in the millions, now for some reason its all the way back there!
What the forget is going on?!?!?

Pretty much any modern desktop these days will run non-shaderized Blockland without any hitches. Same with a laptop of ~$400 or more.

I concur. Have used WinRAR for a long time and it's extremely nice and easy to use. Has the same level of proficiency as 7zip without as much hassle.
Though I use the paid version, it didn't cost much and I liked the software enough to do so.

If he let them do the updates on a completely open source basis, he wouldn't have to hire them, but it would likely mean making the entire game wholly open source. Which would mean that anyone could take the code and fork it or sell it or make evil competitors to the official game.
There is a way to do it right that avoids both those problems, but it likely requires jumping through far more hoops than Badspot is willing to accommodate.

This has been a promising ideal for a long while now since certain users like Trinick, Port, and a few others already make their own modifications to the engine to do things. However, all proposals to Badspot in the past to let them create real updates to the game have been ignored or rejected in some manner.
