For the record, I don't eat pork. And it isn't for religious reasons.

I remember that the talk of the day a year or two back was that disney or some other traditional animation studio was making an animated movie that was pretty much exclusively about anthromorphic animals. I never took down the name of it, anybody remember what it is and if it did/will happen still?

Windows Defender is equivalent to Microsoft Security Essentials, but a bit better due to it now being fully built-in to the OS. I'd recommend using it as an AV, and getting Malwarebytes Pro for it's enhanced heuristics. With that setup, you only have to buy Malwarebytes (~$40) and don't have a reoccurring subscription.

I wasn't concerned with myself tracking the messages back, moreso other admins could do it themselves, but still why have it use points if it was mostly for admins?
Admin mail doesn't cost points. And given the complexity of the system, it took a minimal amount of time to implement the normal messages alongside the admin mail. So why not let it be a tool for everyone? I added a 60 second timeout and the point cost so that you can't do some bullstuff with a script to send mail to every person ever.

For the former, I made it \mostly\ for the ability for admins to leave notable messages for offline players. I'm not concerned about the abuse of normal mail due to how non-intrusive it is. Also, you can verify a message from a player by looking at their .mail files in /config/server/mail/[BLID]. I'll add some kind of mail history for administration purposes.

For the latter, it doesn't take much to deduce that I just haven't been interested in organizing the debate yet. It will be a rather long event with four candidates on the line.

*Goes online*
You have 100+ messages.
The messages say who sent it in the header. Mind telling me who?

I added a mail system sort of thing because it's nice.
/mail
/sendMail [BLID]

Good for leaving messages for offline players.

I might release it at some point too.

And don't forget TwoKinds started in 2004. Unlike VG Cats, it still gets pretty consistent updates.

Fixed some more shield bugs.

Those full sized shields though.

So I suppose there's no way to recover a key that I brought over from an old hard drive and am trying to recover using a key made on this computer?
No. You would need to boot the machine which made that key file and use the recovery tool, or have a second working key file from that same computer which you do know the key for.

2756
maybe some type of aura that is also visible to the affected player could be put around you if your technically inside of the shield so other normals and the boss can know if your taking reduced damage.
Well the idea is that you just know you're protected as long as you're inside it. That's how it was before because I had it tweaked right, but I have to recalibrate it again now.

2757
I've updated the Scientist's shield to cover a larger area. It still needs some tweaking, so I re-enabled a debug bottomprint that lets you know when you're being counted as inside the shield (since it may not perfectly reflect the shield's appearance). I just don't have the time yet to finish the tweaks.

Oh, they're finally removing names from old accounts.

Now I've finally got Pecon instead of Pecon7. Yes.

FYI there is a player.setMaxForwardSpeed /sidespeed/backwardspeed method now which is far more appropriate than globally updating the datablock like here.

:/

Added support for the "Show filename in URL?" option.
Change the showname argument to yes to use.
http://justfilehosting.space/download.php?f=slbwz
Also Firefox doesn't like this file's name.
Not sure if it's because of its length or because of the use of HTML entities. More likely the former.
Tested it myself, seems to be the latter. Looks like commas and semicolons break it. Maybe some others. I dunno. I only tested the characters in the filename.
Okay thanks, updated the frontpage to that version. Also that file has a bunch of Japanese characters in it so it isn't really surprising.

In other news: I made the recent files table a little bigger so longer filenames could fit in it.
