Update. I've removed the captcha requirement to upload. Uploading lots of files in a short period of time will trigger a captcha, though.

considering people's main concerns here are immediacy and convenience, i don't think a site requiring a captcha fits the bill lol

That's situational. It takes quite a bit longer to sign up for an account than to type a captcha. For someone needing something immediate and not already being signed up to anything that can quickly host publicly, it would be more convient. I'm just nitpicking a situation though, in general a service like puush is going to be faster.

Are Witch this amount of players you would believe the same username thing would be lifted.


I can imagine the frustration of someone who has had the same username for long until said person buys Blockland only to find out their username is taken.

Honestly, this is still hardly a problem on Blockland. There are lots of original names left to be used.

That's actually how it's already supposed to work. I have to figure out why it doesn't.

/config/server/prefs.cs, yes.

The ones you're looking for would look like
$pref::server::announcementMessage<number> = "an announcement";

They should be near the top of the file.
Don't forgot to change the $pref::server::announcementCount value if you add more of them.

How can I manually insert announcements from outside of Blockland? It's impossible for me to format my announcements correctly with all the color codes I use because of the in game character limit.

Edit the announcement pref lines from your /client/server/prefs.cs /config/server/prefs.cs file. You can add extra announcements by copying the line and incrementing the number in it's variable name.

Does the shield even work? When I tried it bosses could walk and shoot right through it.

The shield only prevents damage.

Go upload your files on google drive or something like that if you don't care about your privacy. Nothing is requiring you nor anyone else to use this.

The long awaited Scientist class is here!

Armed with only his tools and a deflector, he's got what it takes to protect the team and keep the boss from getting the upper hand!

His first tool is his shield generator, which he can place and upgrade to protect normals within it's shield.
His second tool are his two Epoxy bombs which he can plant, and will explode in an explosion of pure sticky horror that slows down the boss!
His final tool is the closest he has to a weapon, the Deflector! He can use it to redirect most attacks the Boss can throw, if he's fast enough.
