I doubt it. Maybe to Windows 7 and/or 8 users, maybe. But I honestly doubt they'd put it up for free.
Alright, another question is where is the VPS located? I'd like for it to be somewhere on the United State's East Coast. The purchase page allows you to choose the deployment location of your node.
I'll probably be buying one around Jan. 8th when my VPS expires.
What about people who use hosting services like CBM or w/e?Good thing BlockNet deploys every server pre-patched! That's why Gytyyhgfffff's server was protected.
They cant inject their servers because they just cant. They dont have that kind of access.
The hosting services should auto-inject the antidote.dll into all instances of BL they run.
who (besides glass) has 18 accountsTrinick has bought innumerable keys.
On the highest one, Which I would get if I bought this service; you're saying i'm paying $15 month for one server on it's own node and a second seever costs $8? That's $23, I might as well continue hosting my own $30 VPS that can run 3 servers if that in the case. Correct me if I am misunderstanding this. You would be correct there. The dedicated node literally is your own VPS node to work with. That's why it costs about the same. You do, however, get the benefits of the VPS being managed for you. If you're using a Windows VPS, you'll see a massive performance increase on an equivalent BlockNet node.
I'm sure you saw one in demonstration, shooting down an aircraft/UAV. If you try to tell me that we have lasers that can shoot down warheads from a balistic missile I am going to shoot you in the foot.We have actually had them for a long time.
So, if so. I would have lost nothing, but would have destroyed "BlockNet"?How would losing $100 'destroy' blocknet? Honestly, you're nitpicking at the most unlikely situation here.
Is the name "BlockNet" trademarked? If not, what if I were to buy the name and sue you for using a profitable service under my name.Buying the trademark would cost you about as much as you'd be awarded in damages if any small claims court actually decided to rule in your favor.
It means it's located in California and that if you wanna take any legal action it has to be in California. At least that's what I think it means.Capacity isn't a problem, I can deploy new nodes pretty quickly if demand becomes high. Currently there is one US budget node, and two high performance nodes with one in the US and the other in Europe. Dedicated nodes are deployed manually when someone orders one.
Anyway i'm very interested in this and might be making a purchase soon. Is there a cap on how many users you can take on right now? Also is there an artificial limit on the player slots you can have?
Can you help clear up the pricing here.It looks like you entered that you wanted '1' additional server (beyond the first). Just leave the additional servers field blank if you are only hosting one server.
It looks like you're charging for additional servers each month. The extra $5 for setup seems to be entered correctly, but $15+8+1 = 24, and I am not paying for a server that I will not get.
Pricing should be $21 for startup and $16 for regular monthly payments.
