What typo?
Apparently I'm bad at proofreading

Yeah but that's not what open source means. It's the philosophy that you can take the code and do basically whatever with it. That's not the case here, I didn't release it under an open-source license so you're going to need my permission before using the code elsewhere.

I've gone ahead and created a github for the game to make the source code easier to explore and for better issue tracking. Note that this does not make the game open-source, it's just for convenience.

if pah won’t start some work on the CEF version, I’ll try to find some time in between procrastinating on blocklandjs and life..
That would be incredible if you could get it to work. Pah said they had tried to make it work but just couldn't make sense of it.

fyi, the framework bl-browser uses (awesomium) kinda sucks and doesn't support a lot of web standards. I tried to do music streaming for New Years via bl-browser but it ultimately just didn't work out because there was just problem after problem after problem with it not properly supporting web standards. Don't count on it working, at least not until Pah implements a more standards-conforming framework.

I've always liked blockoworld, but I feel like at this point in time we're running pretty low on people who want to showcase stuff that's worthwhile seeing. That's all up to speculation though, I hope for the best here.

v1.9.0 is now released.

- New options menu that allows configuration of keybinds, and a setting to enable/disable sound. These settings persist between refreshes as long as your browser keeps the game's cookie data.
- The game log has been inverted so that new text shows up at the top of the log. In theory this is easier to read while you are watching the map screen.
- The game log also has a fake scrolling effect now.
- Fixed the message log and inventory sometimes scrolling from keyboard input.
- Fixed potion of identification identifying itself and not identifying weapons.
- A few other bug fixes.

I don't have a lot of time to spare but I could probably make a few custom events.

this but also
i find that this protest is very unlikely to actually produce any positive outcome, as well as i don't agree with the message
while yes i agree that guns in the us are a bit ridiculous, focusing on taking away one avenue for people to cause harm does not take away the actual thoughts of causing harm to themselves, or others. focusing on mental health is a much more important avenue that the us needs to focus on, not gun reform in itself.

i mean it's all about muh guns in the current administration so what's really going to happen-- lawmakers make some stupid ass compromise and avoid the real problem backing it? have you noticed that nearly all of the honor students in recent times have either had a mental disability/have a history of being bullied? and-- i don't mean focusing on bullying in the hand-holding kind of way that it's currently being done. that's bullstuff, and the system doesn't work. i speak from personal experience.

edit: try spacing messages out, it's hard to tell messages apart at times
I'm aware that it's a little bit hard to read, but it's part of the visual style I was going for. There isn't really enough room to space the messages out more as it would worsen the issue of the log being too short on small screens. However, I did think about switching the log to ascending instead of descending so that the most relevant messages are written closest to the map area.

edit x2: "You've identified Potion Of Identification"
This is a bug I'll have addressed in the next update.

FA is nice for following specific artists you like, but awful for filtering for specific types of art since the tagging system there is basically optional and it's up to the artist to tag things adequately. Also their really loose guidelines for sfw vs nsfw makes it impossible to avoid raunchy content.
