Nexus made this already, but it's not completely mouse-based. That'd be cool.

He made a thing where you can aim at a location and have your brick moved there, but that's not at all the same.

Could someone give me a password for the QW comic? Despite my best efforts, I cannot get that stupid site to send me a registration email (I've tried with two different accounts). I'm easily driven away from websites that don't work, so I'm not willing to spend half an hour or more trying to sign-up to some dumb website I'll never return to.

I think a great tool would be a mouse-based building GUI. It might be a little too much to undertake; the basic idea would be that you could use the mouse to just hover over locations and your ghost brick would move to the closest free space where you are pointing. Then you could just click and hold to plant bricks.
